00:10More than 110 beggars have been rounded up by Dubai police so far this Ramadan as part
00:16of an anti-begging campaign.
00:18Brigadier Abdul Rehman Saeed Obaidullah, director of Naif Police Station, said police have divided
00:24the city into different zones based on the concentration of beggars in an area.
00:30Most of them are fraudsters who come here during Ramadan on visit visa and loiter around
00:36mosques, he said.
00:37Last Ramadan, police arrested 154 beggars compared to 641 in 2016.
