00:10On a black Monday for Donald Trump's White House, the special counsel investigating possible
00:14co-ordination between the Kremlin and the Trump presidential campaign announced the
00:19first charges. The formal charges against three people are the first public demonstration
00:24that special counsel Robert Mueller and his team believed they have identified criminal
00:29conduct. Paul Manafort, who steered Trump's campaign for much of last year, and business
00:34associate Rick Gates ended the day under house arrest on charges that they funnelled payments
00:39through foreign companies and bank accounts as part of their private political work in
00:42Ukraine. George Papadopoulos, also a former campaign adviser, faced sentencing in the
00:47first criminal case that links the Trump election effort to the Kremlin. Sport and Spain striker
00:53Alvaro Morata says he is happy at Chelsea and would be willing to sign a 10-year contract
00:58with the Premier League champions. Media reports had earlier quoted Morata as saying
01:03he was unsettled at Chelsea as he found London to be stressful.
01:08Netflix says its political drama House of Cards will end after its upcoming sixth season.
01:12The announcement came on the heels of a sexual abuse allegation against series star Kevin
01:17Spacey, though the decision to conclude the series was made several months ago. The Emmy-winning
01:22drama starring Spacey and Robin Wright as an Oval Office power couple kick-started Netflix's
01:27success in producing original shows.
01:30And finally, the weather today is high across the UAE. It will be 34 degrees Celsius dropping
