00:08The party of Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi officially confirmed that she will not become
00:12Myanmar's next president. Unofficially, she has vowed to be the de facto leader by calling
00:17the shots from behind the scenes, and party members said that's how things will work in
00:21Myanmar's first democratically elected government in more than half a century.
00:26Etisalat Group has announced in a boast statement its chief executive Ahmed Zulfar has resigned.
00:32Zulfar, who presented his resignation to the board on Wednesday, is stepping down for personal
00:37reasons.
00:38Hatim Dawidar, who was recently appointed the company's COO, has now been appointed
00:43its acting chief executive until the company finishes restructuring at the end of June.
00:49Amid mounting pressure from Kesha supporters, Sony Music will reportedly drop producer Dr.
00:53Luke from its roster a year before his contract is set to expire.
00:57According to The Wrap, the label is planning to end its relationship with the pop songwriter
01:02Born Lucas Gottwald, who allegedly sexually and emotionally abused Kesha for years after
01:07she signed with him at the age of 18.
01:11And finally, the weather. After a day of deluge and heavy thunderstorm, UAE residents woke
01:16up to clear, sunny skies as the low pressure affecting the country started to weaken. There
01:21are chances of rainfall still over some parts of the UAE. Today's high across the UAE will
