00:00The Commission on Elections, or COMELEC, is strictly enforcing the removal of legal
00:04campaign materials on the first day of the campaign period for the midterm elections.
00:09COMELEC Chairperson George Erwin Garcia emphasized that all candidates must take
00:14election laws seriously, with no exceptions, for small or big violators. Posters exceeding
00:20the allowed size limits or placed outside designated common poster areas will be
00:24changing down, except those on private property. COMELEC also warned that enforcement will be
00:29even stricter starting March 28, when the local election campaign period begins.
