00:26The fourth edition of the annual light festival was held from February 6 to 14 and focused
00:32on the Emirate's most prominent mosques, buildings, and landmarks.
00:36The show featured colorful light effects that depicted Emirati culture and heritage.
00:42Using sophisticated lighting technology, the show told the story of Sharjah's Islamic
00:47heritage, history, and magnificent architecture.
00:50It is one of the anchor events of Sharjah.
00:53We are proud to have a light festival in Sharjah, especially that we do have the platform to

01:05This year, Sharjah is celebrating being the capital of Islamic culture, and therefore

01:38The festival locations this year included Sharjah Municipality, Kuwait Square, Cultural
01:44Palace Square, King Faisal Mosque, Al Majas Mosque, Al Majas Waterfront, Central Souq,
01:52Al Qasbah, Dr. Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi Center of Gulf Studies, Hamza bin Abdul Muttalib
01:59Mosque in Kalba, and Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque in Korfakan.
02:03The Sharjah Light Festival, the first and largest of its kind in the Middle East, has
02:08become a landmark global event highlighting Emirati, Arabic, and Islamic culture.
