00:16Two years after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. approved Package 1 of the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit Project here in Cebu City,
00:26this is the latest update on the Philippines' first bus rapid transit system.
00:3185% of the package 1 was completed and is expected to be completed by next month.
00:56Meanwhile, the local government is also processing the issue in the right-of-way.
01:01According to Cebu City Mayor Raymond Garcia,
01:04he will talk to the council to give him the authority to approve the agreement to all owners affected by the project.
01:25The BRT project is one of the priority projects of PBBM
01:35as a response to the lack of mass transportation and heavy traffic in the city.
