00:00Santorini Island in Greece was hit by tourists, but the situation remained the same in the past few days.

00:07Hundreds of residents and tourists evacuated.

00:10This is because of the series of earthquakes in Santorini and its neighboring island since January 31.

00:17Schools were closed and flights were added for those who wanted to evacuate.

00:22But some residents chose to stay.

00:25According to the authorities, more than 100 earthquakes were recorded in Santorini yesterday.

00:30The strongest was magnitude 4.9.

00:33Emergency rescue teams were sent to the island.

00:37Experts say that the earthquakes may last for a few more weeks.

00:41Greece was overwhelmed and there were many fault lines.

00:44There were also volcanoes.

00:46And Santorini itself was formed due to the strong eruption in 600,000 or 1,600 BC.

00:53But there was no sign of volcanic activity in the recent earthquakes.
