01:07SubhanAllah, Imam Shafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him,
01:11the personality that we are going to talk about today,
01:14says that
01:19Imam Azm Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him,
01:22is such a personality that every person is in need of him in jurisprudence.
01:26A person who wants to enrich himself with the knowledge of jurisprudence,
01:31will obtain benefit from Imam Azm Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him.
01:36This is the principle, this is the foundation, this is the center.
01:39Imam Azm Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him,
01:42I agree with your greatness, that you are the Imam of the Ummah, the head of the Ummah.
01:47So today, InshaAllah, we will have a beautiful dhikr of Imam Azm Abu Hanifa, may Allah be pleased with him.

03:40so your era of birth is the one
03:43whose Khair-ul-Quroon
03:45is guaranteed by the language of the Prophet.

03:50The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
03:52Khair-ul-Quroon-e-Qarni.
03:53No doubt.
03:54Summal-ladheena yaloonahum.

03:57Summal-ladheena yaloonahum.
03:58So, the era of the Prophet,
04:00the era of the Companions,
04:01and the era of the followers,
04:03these are the ones whom the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
04:06has declared as Khair-ul-Quroon.

04:09The birth of Hazrat Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa,
04:11may Allah be pleased with him,
04:14according to one saying,
04:15is in the 69th Hijri,
04:17but the one on which there is more confidence
04:22and fatwa,
04:23is in the 80th Hijri,
04:26and the one on which there is more confidence is in the 150th Hijri.
04:29Wow, wow.
04:30As far as the Al-Kaabah is concerned,
04:32I mentioned it in the beginning,
04:36he is called Imam-ul-Aimah.
04:39Wow, wow.
04:40He is called Siraj-ul-Ummah.
04:42What is he called?
04:43He is called Kashif-ul-Ghummah.
04:44SubhanAllah.
04:45He is called Imam-e-Azam.

04:48Now, the meaning of Imam-e-Azam is not

04:55When a person is praised,
04:59his special qualities are mentioned,

06:23has given the status of knowledge
06:25to this personality.
06:27If he wants,
06:28then he can prove the stone pillars
06:30of his knowledge
06:32to be made of gold.

06:36Allah the Almighty,
06:37has given him that status.

06:40the Prophet of Allah,
06:41peace and blessings be upon him,
06:43has himself given the glad tidings

07:45Lo Kaana Al-Ilmu
07:46Inda Suraiyyah
07:47La Naalahu Rajulun
07:48Min Haa Ulaa
07:49If knowledge
07:50is on the heights
07:51of Suraiyyah,
07:52then from their tribe
07:53will come a man
07:54who will bring
07:55the knowledge
07:56from there.
07:57And all the scholars
07:58wrote that
07:59this man
08:00means Rajulun,
08:01which the Prophet
08:02gave glad tidings,
08:03this means
08:04Hazrat Imam-e-Azam

09:45in which Huzoor-e-Qibla

09:55religious scholar
09:56Hazrat Noman

09:58is a religious scholar

11:29but I would spend most of my time in the market, in business, in earning money.
11:34You were a rich man, a very rich man.
11:37Certainly.
11:37And the business that you did,
11:39Subhanallah.
11:40You did it in such a way that people would look at it and say,
11:43he is like Abu Bakr.
11:45Wow, wow, wow.
11:45The way Abu Bakr used to do business with clothes, may Allah have mercy on him.
11:49With the principles, truthfulness, honesty,
11:52you used to do business with those principles.
11:55There is an example of that.
11:56A woman came, prepared silk cloth and brought it to you.
12:00She wanted to sell it.
12:01You asked her, how much is it?
12:03She said, one hundred dirhams.
12:04You said, no, this is expensive.
12:06Wow, wow.
12:07It should be more expensive.
12:08Subhanallah.
12:09How much should it be?
12:10She said, give me two hundred dirhams.
12:12You said, no, it is more expensive than this.
12:14This is more expensive.
12:15While talking, while walking, it went up to four hundred dirhams.
12:19She thought you were joking with me.
12:20She said, are you joking with me?
12:22That woman was surprised and said, no, I am not joking.
12:26This is expensive.
12:26If a man brings it to you,
12:28she brought it to her husband.
12:30He said, this is at least five hundred dirhams.
12:33And you paid five hundred dirhams for it.
12:35What to say?
12:36You do business in this way.
12:38But one day I was passing by,
12:39I met Imam-e-Auzai, may Allah have mercy on him.
12:41He said to me,
12:43I think you spend more time in the bazaar.
12:46But I see in you,
12:48that light of insight.
12:53Wow, wow.
12:54Ittaqu farasat al-mu'inuna yanzuru bi-nuril-lum.
12:57Allah ke noor se jo dekha na,
12:59seema fi wujoo'i min athar-is-sujood.
13:01Imam-e-Auzai, may Allah have mercy on him,
13:03said, alaika bin-nazari wa majasil-ulama.
13:07I see a strange movement in you.
13:10I see a strange awakening in you.
13:14I see freshness in you for knowledge.
13:16I am giving you a will,
13:18that you go to the bazaar less.
13:20And pay less attention to the rest.
13:23And pay more attention to the people of knowledge.
13:26He said,
13:27fa-nafani Allah bi-qawlihi.
13:30Allah gave me so much benefit from his will,
13:33that I reduced my focus on business.
13:35I started sitting in the gathering of people of knowledge.
13:38Then Allah opened my chest for knowledge.
13:40Wow, wow, wow.
13:41First of all, this became his reason
13:44to pay more attention to the knowledge of religion.
13:46He had already studied the knowledge of religion.
13:47Subhanallah.
13:48Then he said,
13:49the environment I was in,
13:51what was in that environment,
13:52the area of Kufa at that time,
13:54the area of Baghdad, the area of Iraq,
13:56this was the area of knowledge.
13:58Fi maadil ilmi wal fiqh.
13:59He himself said,
14:01kuntu fi maadil ilmi wal fiqh.
14:03Those jurists, scholars, people of knowledge,
14:06the people of knowledge were not only Muslims.
14:08Among them,
14:09there were great masters of Greek philosophy.
14:11Their schools were present there.
14:12Wow, wow, wow.
14:13Their big centers were present there.
14:15What did he say?
14:16There were great scholars of Christianity present there.
14:19There were great scholars of the Moda district present there.
14:22He said,
14:22I started debating with them.
14:25And Alhamdulillah,
14:26I defeated the opponent in every debate with the help of Allah.

14:32Finally, one day,
14:33I said to my students,
14:35I started thinking about the different Islamic sciences
14:40that in which should I pay more attention.

14:42I went and read the knowledge of Hadith-e-Pak.

14:46I first read the knowledge of the Quran.
14:48Then I read the knowledge of debates.
14:50After that,
14:51I read the knowledge of Hadith-e-Pak.

14:53After that,
14:54I focused on the analysis of Fiqh
14:56on the basis of Kitab-e-Sunnah.
14:59I read Nahaab,
15:00I read Adab.
15:00But then I thought,
15:02where should I pay more attention.
15:04He said,
15:05At first, I read Adab and Nahaab.
15:06Then I thought,
15:07Allah put it in my heart
15:09that I should teach my children to read Nahaab all their lives.
15:11Then I thought,
15:12okay,
15:13I will go and learn Tafseer.
15:14I will gain more knowledge in that.
15:16Then I realized that
15:17the Tafseer about the Quran of Allah
15:19I don't need much in that.
15:22Then I read Hadith-e-Pak.
15:23Then it came to my mind
15:25that when I grew old,
15:26people will say that his memory has become weak
15:27because of the narration of Hadith.
15:29So he says,

15:36because knowledge and practice
15:38cannot be obtained without Fiqh.

21:25And this is an example of how much love he had for his teachers.
21:30And how Allah chose him.
21:34Three of his teachers are Aima Ahl-e-Bait Atahar.
21:38Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq is his respected teacher.
21:41Imam Muhammad Al Baqir is also his respected teacher.
21:44Hazrat Imam Zaid bin Ali is also his respected teacher.
21:47You can imagine what kind of personalities they are.
21:50I remember a Hadith of the Prophet.
21:53When a person becomes Allah's beloved, Allah becomes his beloved.
21:58The Prophet said, Allah places his acceptance on the earth.
22:06Allah spreads his fragrance on the earth.
22:10Mufti Sahib and Allama Sahib had said in the beginning that
22:13a large number of our Muslim Ummah are followers of Imam Abu Hanifa.
22:19This is the reason for their acceptance.
22:21Allah has placed his love in their hearts.
22:23And let me make one more thing clear.
22:25Those who are not connected to him in terms of jurisprudence,
22:28all of them, let me say this as a student,
22:33according to their beliefs, they are 100% on Imam Abu Hanifa's beliefs.

22:46But I am saying that I have read the beliefs of Imam Abu Hanifa.

22:56Sharhul Aqeedati Tahawiyah.
22:58Imam Tahawiyah is a great Hanfi scholar.
23:01He is also a student of Imam Sahib.
23:03He organized this book.
23:06And the beliefs he learned from Imam Sahib,
23:08they are on the same level.
23:10And I am saying that we have the same beliefs.
23:12The whole Muslim Ummah,
23:14according to their beliefs,
23:16they are on Imam Sahib's beliefs.
23:18The one who speaks with his head held high.
23:20What is Al-Fiqh Al-Akbar?
23:22This is a book of issues.
23:24This is a book of beliefs.
23:26This is a book of beliefs.
23:28The belief of the creation of the Quran.
23:30Allah's Quran is not Allah's creation.
23:32It is Allah's words.
23:35And there is a book of ours,
23:37Fatawa Naziriyah.
23:43I read it in Fatawa Naziriyah,

24:29Tahrik-e-Khatm-e-Nabuwat.

24:33I believe in the word of God
24:35which is called
24:37Imam-ul-Muhtateen.
24:39You asked the title of Imam.
24:41This is a beautiful title.
24:43What to say?
24:45This title is given by
24:47Maulana Sanaw-ul-Ahmad Sahib.
24:49Imam-ul-Muhtateen.
24:51I believe in the word of God
24:53which is called
24:55Imam-ul-Muhtateen.
24:57And what was it?
24:59Imam-ul-Muhtateen Ahl-e-Qibla.
25:01Whoever is Ahl-e-Qibla,
25:03we are bound to consider them as Muslims.
25:05We do not believe in the word of God.
25:07Allah has given them
25:09such an acceptance
25:11that their ancestors were Ahl-ul-Allah
25:13and they themselves were Ahl-ul-Allah.
25:15And I remembered another incident here.
25:17Hazrat Maulana Sayyid Muhammad
25:19Daud Ghadnavi, may Allah have mercy on him,
25:21had a father,
25:23Imam Abdul Jabbar Ghadnavi, may Allah have mercy on him.
25:25He was teaching Hadith-e-Pak.
25:27He was teaching Sahih Muslim.
25:29Just like Hazrat says that I teach Sahih Muslim,
25:31he himself used to teach Sahih Muslim.
25:33This is Takviyat-ul-Islam Madrasa.
25:35While teaching Hadith-e-Pak,
25:37a passionate student said
25:39that I have memorized so many Hadiths
25:41by tongue.
25:43This is a trap.
25:45Among our Ummah,
25:47sometimes people spread evil thoughts.
25:49He said about Imam-ul-Muhtateen
25:51that he did not have as much knowledge of Hadith
25:53as I did.
25:55Imam Abdul Jabbar Ghadnavi
25:57changed his face.
25:59He said, get up immediately
26:01and leave my Madrasa.
26:03When he was leaving,
26:05he said, remember,
26:07he will die of apostasy.
26:09After a few days,
26:11he died of apostasy.
26:13He died in an accident.
26:15Students asked,
26:17how did this happen?
26:19How did you know?
26:21He said, when he was leaving,
26:23he opened the book again.
26:25He looked at Hadith-e-Qudsi.

26:29he is a friend of Allah.

33:08surely the knowledge of Allah,

33:14It is the opening of the heart for knowledge.

33:18for Allah,
33:19with sincerity,

33:21And this is due to the special mention of Allah.
33:23So surely, this is a path for us.
33:25The people of knowledge today should read the blessed biography of Imam Abu Nifa.

34:21Therefore, this should not be taken lightly.
34:24A companion, Hazrat Abu Zar Ghaffari,
34:26may Allah be pleased with him,
34:27the Prophet said to him,
34:29because in regards to Zuhud,
34:31in regards to Warah,
34:32he had a very distinguished and unique position.
34:35So, all the time, Allah Allah,
34:37reciting Nawafil,
34:38the Prophet said,
34:40Ya Aba Zarin,
34:42La Antaghduha,
34:43Fata'allama Ayatam Min Kitaabillah,
34:46Khairum Min Antusalliha Mi'araka.
34:49La Antaghduha,
34:51Fata'allama Baabam Mina Al-'Ilm,
34:53Humila Bihi Aulam Yu'mal,
34:55Khairum Min Antusalliha Al-Faraka.
34:58What does it mean?
34:59Abu Zar, if you wake up in the morning,
35:01and learn a verse of the Quran,
35:03it is better than offering 100 rakat of Nafl.
35:07Wow.
35:08And if you learn the entire chapter of religion,
35:11it is better than offering 1000 rakat of Nafl.
