01:11Ladies and gentlemen, by the grace and blessing of Allah, once again we are present in this session of Dars-e-Quran.
01:23I would like to present a few points of interpretation in relation to the verses recited in Surah Hameem, Surah As-Sajdah.
01:36May Allah enable all of us to act upon these verses.
01:42Before these verses, Allah Almighty has mentioned the ranks of those who remain steadfast in His path.
01:55Those who say, Rabbuna Allah, summ astaqamu.
02:00Once they say that their Lord is Allah, and then they remain steadfast.
02:04Their necks are cut, their wealth is looted, their families are sacrificed.
02:11But they do not stray from the path of Allah.
02:15My Lord has said, I will grant them paradises.
02:19And I will grant them whatever they desire in that paradise.
02:30The last verse I recited in the sermon is,
02:37And all this will be a hospitality from the Lord, who is Most Forgiving and Merciful.
02:47The next verse is,
02:49And who is better in speech than the one who invites people to Allah?
03:03Hazrat Zia-ul-Ummat, Hazrat Justice Peer Muhammad Karam Shalazari,
03:08He says,
03:10And who is better in speech than the one who invites people to Allah?
03:19My Lord wants to say,
03:21If the first verse and the sequence of this verse are made,
03:24If their order is established,
03:26Then it is known that
03:28My Lord has said,
03:30Whoever says that my Lord is Allah, and then remains steadfast,
03:34Then I will grant him such great blessings in paradise.
03:38I will grant him my sight.
03:40I will grant him closeness.
03:43And I will grant him hospitality.
03:45Now, my Lord wants that
03:47The person who has received so many blessings himself,
03:50He should not keep those blessings only to himself.
03:53He should not do only that all the blessings should be given to me.
03:56And no one else should have it.
03:58He should go out, come to the field of action,
04:00Do the work of Dawah and Tabligh,
04:02Call other people to Allah,
04:05Whoever will be associated with Allah,
04:10The Lord will also grant him blessings,
04:12And He will also grant the one who invites people to Allah.
04:16Therefore, it is not that
04:18The person should get the pleasure of seeing his Lord alone.
04:22Rather, those who are people of dhikr,
04:24And people of knowledge,
04:26And those who are steadfast,
04:28They always try,
04:30You must have seen,
04:32That in our religion,
04:34The order of guidance,
04:36There also,
04:38The one who becomes a disciple,
04:40And establishes a relationship with his teacher,
04:43His teacher wants that,
04:45The way Allah has given me all these blessings,
04:48He should give it to all my disciples.
04:51That is why Allah said,
04:53Who is better in speech than the one who invites to Allah?
04:56Who can speak better than him?
04:59The one who opens his mouth,
05:01And does the work of Dawah to Allah.
05:04You are the best nation brought forth for mankind.
05:07You enjoin what is right,
05:09And forbid what is wrong.
05:11Allah has made you the best nation.
05:14You are the best nation.
05:16You are the best nation.
05:18You are the best nation.
05:20The reason for this is,
05:21That you do the work of Dawah to Allah.
05:23You call people to Allah.
05:25You give the order of goodness,
05:27And stop them from doing evil.
05:29If someone does not give the order of goodness,
05:31Does not stop them from doing evil,
05:33And does not call people to Allah,
05:35He will not find the status of being the best nation.
05:38See, Allah has said to man,
05:41That he is the best of creation.
05:44The meaning of Ahadith tells us,
05:47That man is the best of creation.
05:49But Quran has told us,
05:51That he is also a human being.
05:53Those are the hearts that do not understand,
05:55And they have eyes that do not see,
05:57And they have ears that do not hear.
05:59Those are the ones whose hearts are not pure.
06:01But they are just.
06:03The Quran has said,
06:05That if their hearts are not pure,
06:07If they do not have the understanding of Allah,
06:09If they do not have the ability to see,
06:11If they do not have the ability to hear the truth,
06:13Then they are not the human beings.
06:15Those are the ones whose hearts are not pure.
06:18They are like animals,
06:20And they are also misguided.
06:22So this means that,
06:24To give a status does not mean,
06:26That all human beings are like that.
06:29Similarly,
06:31If you invite to Allah,
06:34If you do good,
06:36If you do good,
06:38Then you will get the highest status.
06:40Just see,
06:42Today, in the remembrance of this personality,
06:44We are sitting in this gathering,
06:46And in the light of the Holy Quran,
06:48We want to understand their character,
06:50Their character, their morals, their actions.
06:53They did not just say,
06:55That my Lord is Allah.
06:57And they stood alone.
06:59They went out in the field of action,
07:01And ninety thousand people recited the Kalima on their hands.
07:07Our beloved,
07:09Huzoor, Khawaja Gharib Nawaz,
07:11Khawaja Khawaja Ghan,
07:13Atai Rasool Fil Hind,
07:15Naib-e-Rasool Fil Hind,
07:17Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti Ajmeri,
07:19Rahmatullah alaih.
07:23Your name is Moinuddin.
07:26So you have spent your whole life,
07:28In the support of the religion,
07:30And in the help of the religion.
07:32So just imagine,
07:34Whoever says,
07:35My Lord is Allah,
07:37My Lord will give him these blessings.
07:39So whoever takes ninety thousand with him,
07:41How many blessings will my Lord give him?
07:48So this blessed verse,
07:52All the Mufasireen say,
07:55This is the demand of the general public.
07:58Whoever does this,
08:00Whoever does this,
08:03My Lord will give him the highest rank.
08:07You should also do this.
08:09Your future generations should do this.
08:11Whoever does this,
08:13My Lord will give him the highest rank.
08:16My Lord will give him the highest rank.
08:18So if I want to say one more thing,
08:20About my faith,
08:21My belief,
08:22And my passion,
08:23What will be the glory of that Siddique Akbar,
08:25Because of whom,
08:26Out of ten Mubashara,
08:28Six people have recited the Kalima.
08:35So the demand of the general public,
08:37Is that whoever does this,
08:39But there is no doubt in this,
08:42That in preaching and instruction,
08:44My Lord has not given the rank,
08:46Which has been bestowed upon me and you,
08:48By Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah,
08:50To anyone else.
08:52Hazrat Zia-ul-Ummat mentions one thing,
08:55He says that Hazrat Hassan Basri,
08:58When he used to recite this blessed verse,
09:02Then he used to be amazed.
09:05And who is better in speech than one who calls to Allah.
09:09When Hazrat Imam Hassan Basri,
09:12Is the leader of the followers,
09:15And directly,
09:17In the chain of Chishtiyah,
09:20Directly,
09:21In that chain,
09:22In which Hazrat Khawaja Ghareeb Nawaz,
09:24Has been seated,
09:25In that chain,
09:26Directly,
09:27From the Master of the Universe,
09:28The Lion of God,
09:29Hazrat Khawaja Hassan Basri,
09:31Has been blessed.
09:33You say,
09:35When he used to recite this blessed verse,
09:37Then he used to be amazed.
09:39And in that amazement,
09:40He used to say,
09:41This is the Messenger of Allah.
09:43This is the Beloved of Allah.
09:45This is the Wali of Allah.
09:47This is the rank of Allah.
09:49This is the goodness of Allah.
09:51This is the love of Allah.
09:53People of the earth,
09:54To Allah.
09:55Qurtubi wrote this sentence,
09:57Hazrat Zia-ul-Ummat counted it.
09:59Hazrat Khawaja Hassan Basri used to say,
10:01This is common,
10:02Whatever the Lord does,
10:03He will reward him.
10:04But Hazrat Hassan Basri says,
10:06The one who says,
10:08This is the Messenger of Allah.
10:10This is the Beloved of Allah.
10:12This is the rank of Allah.
10:14This is the chosen one of Allah.
10:16This is the love of Allah.
10:18People of the earth,
10:20To Allah.
10:22And this is the Beloved of Allah,
10:24The Messenger of Allah.
10:26This is the love of Allah,
10:28The Beloved of Allah,
10:30The Messenger of Allah.
10:34So, the grace of prophethood,
10:36My Lord has given to the saints.
10:38My Lord has given this rank to the saints.
10:46In the next part of this verse,
10:48Allah says,
10:50He does not say,
10:52Come to Allah.
10:54No, no.
10:56Allah says,
10:58He is such a great person,
11:00Who invites to Allah,
11:02And acts upon it.
11:04He does not just say to others.
11:06He himself acts upon it.
11:08He does not become heedless by inviting people.
11:12He spends his whole life
11:14According to his actions.
11:16Allah says,
11:18My Lord has given them high ranks.
11:24And the one who invites to Allah,
11:26In the end, he says,
11:28I am one of the obedient servants of my Lord.
11:34Ladies and gentlemen,
11:36Today, we all call ourselves Muslims.
11:40On our identification cards,
11:42On our passports,
11:44It is written everywhere,
11:46Muslims.
11:48Today, to be called a Muslim,
11:50Is not a perfection,
11:52When this verse was revealed,
11:54At that time,
11:56The one who used to say,
11:58I am a Muslim,
12:00He used to be hit with stones.
12:02He used to be called,
12:04Did we forget Taif?
12:06Did we forget the prostration of our Prophet?
12:08When that lazy,
12:10And doubtful person,
12:12Uqba bin Abi Moit,
12:14Had thrown a dagger at the back of my Prophet.
12:16And it became difficult to raise his head.
12:18Hazrat Sayyiduna Siddique Akbar,
12:20When he became the first preacher of Islam,
12:22And he stood in the courtyard of the Harem,
12:24And he invited to Allah,
12:26And the disbelievers of Mecca,
12:28Did not remember what they had done to him?
12:30What happened to Hazrat Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani?
12:34The one who invites to Allah,
12:36In that state,
12:38He himself acts,
12:40And then he says,
12:42I have become a Muslim.
12:46There is a famous couplet,
12:48That this love is not easy,
12:50Just understand this,
12:52There is a river of fire,
12:54And you have to drown to reach it.
12:56So these personalities,
12:58Behind whose head we are sitting today,
13:02Hazrat Khawaja Ghareeb Nawaz,
13:04Or all the high-ranking personalities,
13:06All those personalities,
13:08Have crossed the river of fire,
13:10And reached here.
13:12My Lord does not grant such a high rank,
13:14Who sacrifices everything,
13:16Then my Lord grants them,
13:18The highest ranks.
13:22So this was not an easy task,
13:24In that moment,
13:26When these blessed verses were revealed.
13:28So,
13:30The way of preaching of all the prophets,
13:32Remember this,
13:34This is a matter of belief.
13:36Whether you are a prophet,
13:38Or a saint,
13:40No one has come into this world,
13:42To make their followers,
13:44Or their followers,
13:46Or their slaves,
13:48Or their servants,
13:50Their slaves.
13:52To make them their slaves.
13:54They have not come,
13:56To say,
13:58Worship me,
14:00Whether you are a prophet,
14:02Or a saint.
14:04In today's world,
14:06No one says,
14:08Worship me.
14:10No one says,
14:12Be a true servant of Allah.
14:14The Prophet used to say,
14:16Say this,
14:18I bear witness,
14:20That Muhammad is his servant,
14:22And his messenger.
14:24And Jesus,
14:26Was three days old,
14:28So he said,
14:30I bear witness,
14:32That Muhammad is his servant,
14:34And his messenger.
14:36They have all come,
14:38To make their followers,
14:40Or their servants,
14:42Their slaves.
14:44They have not come,
14:46To say,
14:48Worship me,
14:50Whether you are a prophet,
14:52Or a saint.
14:54We have never had,
14:56Such a concept.
14:58All the Prophets,
15:00Have said,
15:02I bear witness,
15:04That Muhammad is his servant,
15:06And his messenger.
15:08Because,
15:10Worshiping Allah is not possible.
15:12Worshiping Allah,
15:14Is pure from the body.
15:16Worshipping Allah,
15:18Is the same as,
15:20Worshipping the one,
15:22Who offers prayers.
15:24The one who fasts,
15:26The one who does Tawaf.
15:28So, Taqwa is of Allah.
15:30Worshiping Allah,
15:32Is of the Prophets.
15:34So, Taqwa is of Allah.
15:36The one,
15:38Who has broken all ties with Allah.
15:40Allah, the Lord of Glory,
15:42Has mentioned,
15:44His attributes,
15:46His miracles,
15:48His names,
15:50In the Holy Quran.
15:52It is said,
15:54He is the peace,
15:56He is the believer,
15:58He is the saviour,
16:00He is the holy,
16:02All the commentators say,
16:04You are an educated person,
16:06MashaAllah,
16:08All the scholars,
16:10And the listeners,
16:12You have read,
16:14Masa,
16:16Alal Khufain,
16:18And Masa,
16:20Alal Jabira,
16:22From Nurul Iza,
16:24To Al Hidayah.
16:26Jabira,
16:28Is the band,
16:30It is called, Jabira.
16:32So, Hazrat Isa A.S,
16:34Says,
16:36Jabira,
16:38Is the band,
16:40It is the one,
16:42Which connects the broken hearts.
16:44Allah, the Lord of Glory,
16:46Allah, the Lord of Glory,
16:48When the bone is broken,
16:50And the band is tied,
16:52The band is tied,
16:54Because,
16:56It connects the broken bone.
16:58If Jabira can connect the broken bone,
17:00Then why can't Jabbar connect the broken heart?
17:04So, all these personalities,
17:06Among whom Hazrat Khawaja Gharib Nawaz,
17:08Is also counted,
17:10All of them are Abdul Jabbar.
17:12Their work is,
17:14They are his people,
17:16Who connect the broken hearts.
17:18So, he is the one,
17:20Who connects the broken hearts.
17:22The one,
17:24Who comes close to him,
17:26And the one,
17:28Who connects the broken heart,
17:30With his Lord.
17:32So, these people,
17:34Don't say,
17:36Pray for us,
17:38Don't say,
17:40Recite our Kalima.
17:42They say,
17:44Unity is of Allah,
17:46And Prophethood is of Muhammad,
17:48The Chosen One.
17:50Look,
17:52If Allah has given us so much nearness,
17:54Then come,
17:56The river of His mercy is in fervour.
17:58You too,
18:00Wake up in the middle of the night,
18:02And see,
18:04How much He bestows,
18:06Every night.
18:08In the next verse,
18:10It is said,
18:12It is not possible,
18:14That good and evil become equal.
18:16It does not happen.
18:18Good is good,
18:20Evil is evil.
18:22So, if a person,
18:24Begins to think,
18:26That good is good,
18:28Then he should understand,
18:30That good is not important.
18:36It is said,
18:38It is equal to an atom.
18:40This atom,
18:42Which is mentioned in the Quran,
18:44No scientist,
18:46Has been able to prove,
18:48What is an atom.
18:50It is said,
18:52It is equal to an atom.
18:54If good is equal to an atom,
18:56Then my Lord will reward it.
18:58And if evil is equal to an atom,
19:00Then it will have to face its consequences.
19:06So, if the whole society,
19:08Unites against evil,
19:10Then,
19:12Evil will not become good.
19:14And if you leave good,
19:16And think it will become evil,
19:18So,
19:20A believer is one,
19:22Who keeps on doing good.
19:26The Holy Prophet said,
19:28Allah has given me nine commandments.
19:30One of them is,
19:40That I forgive those,
19:42Who oppress me.
19:44I make a bond with those,
19:46Who deprive me.
19:48I give to those,
19:50Who deprive me.
19:52To oppress is bad.
19:54To break a bond is bad.
19:56To deprive is bad.
19:58To make a bond is good.
20:00It is in goodness.
20:02To forgive is in goodness.
20:04To give is in goodness.
20:06So, how is it possible,
20:08That evil and good are equal?
20:10Only that person can imagine,
20:12That good and evil are equal.
20:14The one whose belief,
20:16Is not strong on the Day of Judgment.
20:28Your Lord is the One,
20:30Who has all the worlds.
20:32He is Merciful.
20:34And the Day of Judgment,
20:36The Day of Recompense,
20:38The Day of Justice,
20:40The Day of Resurrection,
20:42He will decide.
20:44So, He will do.
20:46You can forget,
20:48But He is not forgetful.
20:52My Lord is in your custody,
20:54As if there is no CCTV camera.
21:00He is in your custody.
21:06And if He holds you,
21:08It will be very hard.
21:10So, how is it possible,
21:12That good and evil are equal?
21:14Good will always be good,
21:16Even if society does not consider it good.
21:18And evil will always be evil,
21:20Even if society does not put it in its habit.
21:24So, when society leaves goodness,
21:26And does not consider it good,
21:28And does not consider evil as evil,
21:30Then the missionaries come,
21:32And invite to Allah.
21:34When Prophet Lot,
21:36Used to explain to his people,
21:38He used to say,
21:40You are the one,
21:42Who has given special knowledge to Allah.
21:44He said,
21:46They have been bewitched,
21:48They have been bewitched,
21:50Take them out of here.
21:52So, this has been happening,
21:54With the missionaries,
21:56With the preachers,
21:58This has been happening,
22:00When you teach goodness,
22:02The world will criticize,
22:04The society will consider it bad.
22:06It does not mean,
22:08That you should sit aside,
22:10You should be steadfast,
22:12Two people will be with you,
22:14Allah will reward you.
22:18And if someone does evil to you,
22:20If someone does evil to you,
22:22If someone does evil to you,
22:26Then correct that evil,
22:28With that goodness,
22:30Which is better than that.
22:32Not only goodness,
22:34The Prophet said,
22:36Correct that evil,
22:38With that goodness,
22:40Which is better than that.
22:42Prophet Akram,
22:44Has been abused,
22:46And has been cursed.
22:48Prophet Akram,
22:50Has been stoned,
22:52And has been flooded with flowers.
22:54Is there any missionary,
22:56Is there any preacher,
22:58Is there any scholar,
23:00Who has the courage,
23:02To go against Allah?
23:04So,
23:06Scholars,
23:08Saints,
23:10Prophets,
23:12This is the way of Dawah.
23:14Have there not been such prophets,
23:16Who have been cut off,
23:18By keeping a stick in their head.
23:22But,
23:24They were not allowed,
23:26To go against Dawah,
23:28Or to remain silent,
23:30So,
23:32The one who has been stoned,
23:34Do not stone him,
23:38We are not talking about that goodness,
23:40We are talking about the one,
23:42Who has been flooded with flowers.
23:46The Prophet said,
23:48Correct that evil,
23:50With that goodness,
23:52Which is better than that.
23:54Prophet Akram,
23:56Saints,
23:58Prophets,
24:00So, what will happen?
24:02Now, we are going towards,
24:04The climax of this discussion,
24:06The conclusion.
24:08Goodness and evil are not equal.
24:14And if someone does evil,
24:16Do good to him.
24:18What will happen?
24:20And if someone does good to you,
24:22Do good to him.
24:26What will happen?
24:28The person,
24:30Between whom there is enmity,
24:32And enmity between you,
24:34If you do good to him,
24:36My Lord will make him,
24:38Your best friend.
24:40This is what happens.
24:42What?
24:44Muslims,
24:46Have you forgotten Uhud?
24:48Have you forgotten Uhud?
24:50Khalid bin Waleed,
24:52Is the name of the one,
24:54Who attacked,
24:56From behind that pillar.
25:00His pain,
25:02Must be felt till today.
25:04With that Khalid bin Waleed,
25:06The Prophet kept on loving,
25:08Until he became,
25:10Khalid Saifullah.
25:14Have you forgotten,
25:16Prophet Jahl?
25:18Abu Jahl?
25:22He ran away,
25:24That I will drown in the sea of Jeddah,
25:26And I will go and read the Kalima,
25:28Out of humiliation.
25:30My Prophet,
25:32Loved him to the limit.
25:34He said,
25:36I give you life,
25:38Faith,
25:40Death and Martyrdom.
25:42If my master,
25:44Had prayed for me,
25:46The Tabligh would have stopped.
25:50So you,
25:52Answer the evil with goodness.
25:54And the one,
25:56Who has enmity between you and him,
25:58He will become,
26:00Your best friend.
26:02How can I give you a better example?
26:04It is easy.
26:06He left the house,
26:08With a sword.
26:10He said,
26:12When he reached the house,
26:14He finished his work.
26:16And one day,
26:18The Prophet had a hand in his hand.
26:20The master said,
26:22How much do you love me?
26:24He said,
26:26I love you more than anything in the universe.
26:28The master said,
26:30I still have not completed my faith.
26:32The master said,
26:34There are thousands of lives,
26:36I will sacrifice one at your feet.
26:42And the one,
26:44Who has enmity between you and him,
26:46He will become,
26:48Your best friend.
26:50That is why it was said,
26:52Good and evil are not equal.
26:54If someone does evil,
26:56You have to answer with goodness.
26:58And the result will be,
27:00The enmity between you and him,
27:02Because of your love,
27:04He will finish his work.
27:06And he will become,
27:08Your best friend.
27:10Dear viewers,
27:12Prophets are Prophets.
27:14Where do we get that level,
27:16That steadfastness,
27:18That patience from?
27:20But these saints,
27:22This reconciliation,
27:24Especially our beloved,
27:26Our beloved Prophet,
27:28Hazrat Khawaja Muinuddin Chishti Ajmeri,
27:30May Allah be pleased with him and grant him mercy.
27:32This was the way of preaching,
27:34Of these personalities.
27:36Always with compassion,
27:38You have made the people understand.
27:40Among today's missionaries,
27:42And among the Sufis,
27:44This is the difference in the way of preaching.
27:46Today, in the beginning of a conversation,
27:48There is compulsion.
27:50The fire starts to boil.
27:52The fatwas of kufr are issued.
27:54Kill them.
27:56Get them out of the circle of Islam.
27:58No Sufi has ever done this.
28:00He does not make Dawah.
28:02But the request is,
28:04That these people who preach with compulsion,
28:06Tell me,
28:08How many people have they taught the Kalima?
28:10They have taught the Kalima,
28:12To hundreds of thousands of people,
28:14Through listening,
28:16Through recitation,
28:18With softness,
28:20With compassion.
28:22Why did they do this?
28:24In the way of preaching of the Sufis,
28:26The most effective thing was,
28:28That they included the culture of every area,
28:30And did the preaching.
28:32At that time, the tendency was,
28:34They did such things.
28:36Through listening,
28:38Through recitation,
28:40The unity of Allah,
28:42And the message of the Messenger of Allah,
28:44Has spread so much,
28:46That 900,000 people have recited the Kalima.
28:48Ladies and gentlemen,
28:50Allah's mercy is increasing.
28:52May He enable us to remain attached to these saints.
28:54And according to their way of preaching,
28:56May He enable us to preach as well.
28:58And our last Dawah,
29:00Is to praise Allah, Lord of the worlds.
29:04Al Fatiha.
