00:00Members of the National Transportation Safety Board gathered for four hours to investigate the collision between an army helicopter and a passenger jet at Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.
00:15According to the Internal Preliminary Safety Report of the Federal Aviation Administration,
00:21there were only a handful of staff who were in charge of the control tower in the area when the incident occurred.
00:28According to the NTSB, the cause of the incident has not yet been determined as they are not yet completing the investigation.
00:37The Philippine National Police also confirmed that a Filipino police officer was one of more than 60 victims of the incident.
00:47Police Colonel Malaved was on official travel at the time of the incident,
01:11fulfilling his duty as a dedicated police officer committed to the service of protecting and securing both the PNP and the nation.
01:23His untimely passing is a profound loss to the PNP, where he served with honor, integrity, and dedication throughout his career.
