00:00I'm Dan Kline, Executive Editor of Come Cruise With Me.
00:07That's comecruisewith.me if you want to visit us online.
00:11These are the things I do the morning before every cruise.
00:15They're going to sound a little dumb, but if you forget one of them, you are going to
00:18be very upset with yourself.
00:19So first of all, I make sure I have all my luggage.
00:22Now if I'm traveling solo, that's one carry-on bag and one suitcase.
00:26But if I'm picking up friends, if I'm going with a group, it's really easy to lose one
00:30suitcase in the midst of four or five.
00:32After I do that, I make sure I have my passport or whatever cruise documents you need to travel.
00:38So that could be a license, it could be a birth certificate, but I keep my passport
00:41in the front pocket of my backpack and I check it every single time.
00:46After that, I make sure that I do anything you can do before you get on the ship.
00:51So that means fill out the health document.
00:54Most cruise lines in the app have a place where you can answer a couple of questions
00:57and you'll get on the ship faster.
00:58I also do everything I can from a safety point of view.
01:02So on Royal Caribbean, that means I watch the video about how to put on your life jacket,
01:07I listen to the safety horn, and then all I have to do when I get on board is go to
01:12the muster station.
01:13I am Dan Kline.
