00:36This Aql was the best way to reach God.
00:39When we started using this Aql according to our own needs, then Satan got involved in
00:45this Aql.
00:46And because of this, there was an error in our lives.
00:49This Aql was given to us because of the wealth of consciousness, so that we can judge right
00:55from wrong.
00:56Do you know that a person who has a connection with every religion in the world, whom Allah
01:01has blessed with Aql, he is aware of the strength of his Aql that this is wrong, what I am doing
01:08is wrong.
01:09But he is doing it, Satan is making him do it.
01:12He is a human being, he is a sinner, it is happening.
01:16But his Aql is saying that this is not right.
01:19There are some Aqls, they have such connections that they defend wrong, that it is wrong,
01:25but Allah has blessed him with the wealth of consciousness and Aql.
01:29So always pray to Allah that if Allah has given us Aql, then give us Aql-e-Saleem,
01:34give us your way.
01:35Today we will talk about Aql.
01:37Inshallah, not only in the country of Pakistan, but in the world of Islam, Mashallah,

01:50Is the foundation of Islamic Aqam and Aqaid on Aql?
01:55Bismillah-e-Rahman-e-Rahim.

01:59Look, you said a very beautiful thing in the beginning,
02:02that Allah the Almighty has given man the blessings,
02:05the power of hearing, the power of sight, the power of speech,
02:09the speaking power.
02:11And Allah the Almighty has made man superior to animals and made him the most honorable of all creatures.
02:16The central thing in this is that Allah the Almighty has given man Aql-o-Shu'oor.
02:20Aql-o-Shu'oor is a great blessing from Allah the Almighty.
02:26But the question you have asked is,
02:28is the foundation of Islamic Aqaid and Aqam on Aql?
02:34It is not like that.
02:35Its foundation is on Wahi-e-Ilahi.
02:38Allahu Akbar.
02:40Allah and His Messenger are on Aqam.
02:42Quran and Hadith are on Aqam.
02:44If all the Aqalas of the world come together
02:48and say about something Haram,
02:50that no, our Aqalas say that it is Halal,
02:53then by their saying it will not be Halal.
02:55There can be no defence.
02:56Absolutely not.
02:57Similarly, if they come together on something,
02:59all the Aqalas of the world,
03:01all the intelligent people of the world,
03:03it cannot be in any form.
03:05And there is a flight of Aql.
03:07Where the flight of Aql ends,
03:10from there the flight of Wahi-e-Ilahi begins.
03:13Allahu Akbar is on top of that.
03:15But this is a fact that Allah Almighty
03:17has given man Aql.
03:19We talked about this in the beginning.
03:21It cannot be negated.
03:22Allah Almighty says repeatedly in the Quran
03:25that what has happened to them?
03:27They do not have Aql.
03:29They do not understand.
03:31What has happened to them?
03:33They should use Aql and Samaj.
03:35And they should turn to Allah Almighty.
03:39We came to know that the right use of Aql
03:43makes a person close to Allah.
03:45Amazing.
03:46He is a human being.
03:48He has Aql and consciousness.
03:50But if he does not use Aql,
03:52then the Quran says,
03:56He is like an animal.
03:58What is the difference between him and an animal?
04:00He is like an animal.
04:02In fact, he is worse than them.
04:04The requirement of Aql is that
04:06a person should ponder
04:08upon the creation of Allah Almighty.
04:10The Quran says repeatedly,
04:12O you who have Aql,
04:14O you who have vision,
04:16ponder upon the creation of Allah Almighty.
04:18If your Aql is pure of prejudice
04:20and if your Aql
04:22is a righteous Aql,
04:24then you will not deny
04:26the existence of Allah Almighty.
04:28You will not deny
04:30the commandments of Allah Almighty.
04:32So Aql is one of the blessings
04:34of Allah Almighty.
04:37Dr. Iqbal says
04:39that you should not waste time
04:41in criticizing Aql.
04:43You should base your actions
04:45on Aql.
04:47He says that if you want to be successful,
04:49you should hold on to Aql.
04:51He says,
04:53Aql qurbanakun babayshi Mustafa
04:55Allah o Akbar
04:57Allah has given you Aql and consciousness.
04:59You should destroy this Aql and consciousness
05:01in front of Mustafa Kareem.
05:03Wow.
05:05Today our children
05:07and new generation say
05:09that what is the logic of this?
05:11What is the Aql of this?
05:13So son, the biggest logic is
05:15that my Mustafa did this.
05:17My Mustafa Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
05:19Iqbal says
05:21that you should surrender your Aql
05:23to Mustafa Kareem.
05:25He says,
05:27what is Deen?
05:29He says, Deen is
05:31my Mustafa's Kaal and Maqal.
05:33He says,
05:35you should follow
05:37his footsteps.
05:39Allah o Akbar

05:45his Aql to Babayshi Mustafa
05:47Allah o Akbar
05:49Allah has given him the status of
05:51Ujj-e-Sariyya.
05:53Dr. Iqbal says
05:55that you should come
05:57to my Mustafa's court

06:01Aql-e-Ghiyab-e-Justujoo
06:03Ishq-e-Huzoor-e-Istiraab
06:05He says,
06:07your Aql will be perfect
06:09and your Ishq will be successful

06:19you should surrender
06:21your Aql, your understanding
06:23to the Quran and Hadith
06:25in front of Allah and His Messenger

06:29what opens the doors

06:33Aql is the blessing of Allah
06:35but the structure of Quran and Hadith
06:37is the command of Allah and His Messenger
06:39You have said a wonderful thing
06:41which touched my heart
06:43and every believer's heart

06:49from the companions of Huzoor

06:53this is not Aql
06:55this is Ishq
06:57When Huzoor will be with us

07:51the Shariah commandments in Aql or not
07:53The answer to this question
07:55is that we can definitely explain
07:57the Shariah commandments in Aql
07:59and there is nothing wrong
08:01in it
08:03and there is nothing wrong
08:05in it
08:07The meaning of the Shariah commandments
08:09in Aql
08:11is very simple
08:13and that is
08:15to explain the wisdom
08:17of the Shariah commandments
08:19Wow
08:22This wisdom is hidden
08:24and this wisdom is hidden
08:26and this wisdom is hidden
08:28When you explain the wisdom
08:30of different commandments
08:32it is called the rational explanation
08:34of the commandments
08:36and whether they are Mufassireen
08:38or Muhaddeseen or Fuqaha
08:40wherever they have explained
08:42the Shariah commandments
08:44they have also explained
08:46its wisdom in abundance
08:48Subhanallah
08:50Mufassireen have focused

08:54They have a very famous book
08:56Hujjatullahil Balighah
08:58The topic of that book is
09:00that they have taken the Shariah commandments
09:02and have explained its wisdom
09:04and its secrets
09:06In our Ulema
09:08in the end of times
09:10Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan Naimi
09:12has a book called Asrarul Ahkam
09:14He has explained
09:16the wisdom of the commandments
09:18Therefore,
09:20if we explain the wisdom
09:22of the commandments
09:24with rational explanation
09:26then there is no flaw in it
09:28For example,
09:30Shah Waliullah Muhaddese Dailvi
09:32says that we perform ablution
09:34This ablution has been kept
09:36so that when we go
09:38in front of a big person
09:40we improve our condition
09:42we become fresh
09:44and we improve ourselves
09:46Similarly, when we go
09:48in front of God
09:50then there are benefits
09:52This is its rational explanation
09:54Its wisdom
09:56that we improve ourselves
09:58and go in front of God

10:02our organs are open organs
10:04Our face is in front
10:06Our hands are in front
10:08Our feet are in front
10:10So the root of diseases
10:12is caught from here
10:14So a person can be saved
10:16from many diseases

10:20there is a famous saying
10:22about Salah
10:24When you are bound to Salah
10:26then the discipline
10:28of your life
10:30brings it
10:32So the wisdom
10:34of the thousands of
10:36Shariah commandments
10:38should be explained
10:40Just keep in mind
10:42that while explaining the wisdom
10:44a person should not say
10:46that now this thing
10:48is not coming in my mind
10:50There can be no rational explanation
10:52So now I don't accept it
10:54This attitude is wrong
10:56That you
10:58will not depend on it
11:00If you don't understand anything
11:02then you will say that
11:04my mind ends here
11:06but there must be some wisdom
11:08in the commandment of God
11:10The right attitude is
11:12that if something
11:14does not come in the mind
11:16of a person
11:18then he should not
11:20falsify any Shariah commandment
11:22Similarly,
11:24while explaining wisdom
11:26a person says
11:28that I have explained
11:30the wisdom
11:32There is no other wisdom
11:34This attitude is wrong
11:36Shariah commandments
11:38are so comprehensive
11:40that their wisdom
11:42will be revealed
11:44till Qiyamah
11:46and its secrets
11:48will be revealed
11:50to people
11:52So the scholars
11:54of every era
11:56will keep taking
11:58those Shariah commandments
12:00and will keep explaining
12:02their wisdom
12:04So there is no
12:06Both of you said
12:08a beautiful thing
12:10and you also mentioned
12:12those Shariah commandments
12:14that when God has given wisdom
12:16then He has given the right
12:18to use it
12:20But there was a point

13:09And it is a valid point that
13:11there is no need for it.
13:13There is a need for it and
13:15we said in the beginning that
13:17Allah the Almighty has given
13:19special blessings to humans
13:21and on the basis of which he created
13:23the most noble creatures.
13:25There is the power of speaking,
13:27which other animals do not have.
13:29There is a mind and consciousness
13:31and on the basis of which
13:33humans reach great heights.
13:35All the poetry that you have read,
13:37and I have also read by Allama Iqbal,
13:39in that Allama Iqbal has
13:41referred to the mind as a shipper.
13:43He has referred to the mind as
13:45a mediator and a helper.
13:47If you use your mind properly,
13:49it is like a rider.
13:51It is like a knife in your hand.
13:53Either you cut a fruit or a vegetable
13:55or you cut someone's neck.
13:57This is your own use.
13:59Whether you use it negatively
14:01or positively,
14:03every human being has
14:05all kinds of thoughts.
14:07Some people have
14:09negative thoughts.
14:11They think negatively about
14:13everything.
14:15They see positive as well as
14:17negative.
14:19There are many negative things
14:21in everything.
14:23Similarly, if you make your mind
14:25negative, it will be harmful.
14:27The first sentence
14:29that we started with
14:31was that the mind is one of
14:33the blessings of Allah.
14:35It is a blessing and
14:37we have to value it.
14:39When Allah created Adam,
14:41he said,
14:45He said,
14:49It is mentioned in some narrations.
14:51He said,
14:53He created the mind and
14:55when the mind is used
14:57against Allah and His Messenger
14:59and His nature,
15:01when the Prophet of Allah
15:03said,
15:07This is the closest thing.
15:09There are many gods
15:11and there is only one God.
15:13When the companions
15:15accepted it,
15:17the disbelievers of Mecca
15:19used a very wrong sentence.
15:21They said,
15:25This is foolishness and
15:27foolishness and foolishness.
15:29We have come with faith like
15:31foolishness and foolishness
15:33and foolishness.
15:35These are the words of the
15:37Holy Quran.
15:39Allah said,
15:41They do not have wisdom.
15:43They are not foolish.
15:45They are foolish.
15:47They do not have knowledge.
15:49They are using their wisdom
15:51correctly.
15:53Those who were blessed by Allah,
15:55they sacrificed their wisdom
15:57in front of Allah and His Messenger.
15:59Allah is the greatest.
16:01You are objecting like Bani Israel.
16:03You are objecting on questions.
16:05Allah then declared the
16:07Jamaat-e-Sahaba as a standard
16:09for the whole Ummah.
16:11He said,
16:13He is the being of Mustafa Kareem
16:15and then his companions.
16:17He said, look at them.
16:19Now you see what was their standard.
16:21He said, look at them.
16:23They are accepting everything
16:25and surrendering everything.
16:27This is not a matter of wisdom.
16:29This is what leads
16:31a person towards ruin.
16:33As Allama Sahab said
16:35beautifully,
16:37everyone is after this.
16:39You have told us that
16:41Zakat is obligatory on us,
16:43Namaz is obligatory on us.
16:45Tell us the logic of this.
16:47You are not telling the logic.
16:49Our elders have done all these things.
16:51But the biggest logic
16:53is that
16:55my Lord, His Beloved
16:57has made it obligatory on us.
16:59Subhanallah.
17:01All the Ulema in Shia Islam
17:03do not have a logic.
17:05As Allama Sahab gave
17:07such a big reference of Wudhu,
17:09Wudhu, Namaz,
17:11purity, discipline.
17:13He said about Zakat,
17:15pay Zakat
17:17and your wealth will be purified.
17:19But he also gave
17:21a social wisdom.
17:23He said,
17:25the biggest logic of this
17:27is that this wealth
17:29should not be
17:31in the hands of a few.
17:33It should not be in the hands
17:35of 20-22 families
17:37and not in the hands
17:39of 2% people in the world.
17:41Now see,
17:43the Quran has
17:45mentioned a logic
17:47of this.
17:49He said that this is a
17:51very big system of economy.
17:53Today, all the poverty in the world,
17:55all the poverty in the world,
17:57if you believe in this logic
17:59of the Quran,
18:01then a balance will be established
18:03in the whole world.
18:05There will be a balance of wealth.
18:07Believe me,
18:09nothing in Islam is empty of wisdom.
18:11But we say,
18:13sacrifice your wealth
18:15to Allah and His Messenger.
18:17Subhan Allah.
18:19Very good.

18:23religious and Shariah issues
18:25are solved on the basis
18:27of logic.
18:29A student asked a question,
18:31it has to be logically solved.
18:33What is the status of Shariah?
18:35That the logic of Shariah
18:37should be maintained,

18:43You asked a very good question
18:45whether religious issues
18:47are solved on the basis
18:49of logic or not.
18:51Religious issues are
18:53definitely solved on the
18:55basis of logic.
18:57If we understand it in a little
18:59detail, then it is that
19:01all the Shariah commandments
19:03that are given to us,
19:05which are also told to us
19:07as an order,
19:09one of the most fundamental
19:11sources is the Quran.
19:13The second is Sunnah, Hadith.
19:15The third is Ijma-e-Ummat.
19:17And the fourth is Qiyas.
19:19Now see,
19:21these things,
19:23Quran, Hadith and Ijma,
19:25they are related to
19:27Naqal.
19:29The fourth number
19:31that I mentioned,
19:33Qiyas, equal to Aql.
19:35Right.
19:37This is also a source of Shariah,
19:39Aql.
19:41On the basis of this,
19:43decisions are solved.
19:45I will give you an example.
19:47There are many things
19:49that are related to
19:51Ijtihad or
19:53the commandments of the new age.
19:55We do not get anything
19:57as an order in Quran and Hadith.
19:59So on the basis of that,
20:01Aql and Qiyas are taken out.
20:03For example, there are many
20:05things. Now you will say
20:07that this is not mentioned in Quran
20:09and that is not mentioned in Hadith.
20:11Now in Hadith and Quran,
20:13there is a word called Khamar.
20:15Allah has declared Khamar as Haram.
20:17Now the Mujtahideen
20:19in Khamar,
20:21the Aqileen,
20:23they searched for what
20:25has become the reason for it being Haram.
20:27So they found
20:29in Khamar,
20:31covering up Aql.
20:33Yes, covering up Aql
20:35is why it is Haram.
20:37Now what is Qiyas and Aql?
20:39Whatever thing
20:41covers up Aql,
20:43whatever its name is,
20:45you can call it Gutka,
20:47you can call it Nasha,
20:49or whatever it is,
20:51if it is covering up Aql,
20:53then it will be under its command.
20:55Yes, you see, it is covering up Aql.
20:57It has been driving the truck for 6 hours
20:59and Aql is not working.
21:01I am not discussing that.
21:05But the point is that
21:07if it is covering up Nasha,
21:09then we have taken its command from Khamar.
21:11On what basis? On the basis of Aql.
21:13On the basis of Qiyas.
21:15So there are many Shariah commandments
21:17whose decision is made
21:19on the basis of Aql only.
21:21And if you are looking at Qiyas
21:23as a regular source,
21:25then within these 4 sources,
21:27you can assume that 25% is there.
21:29It is a big thing.
21:31It is a big equity.
21:33It is a big thing.
21:35Qiyas being there as a Shariah source,
21:37and there is a very famous narration
21:39that Huzoor-e-Alaihissalam
21:41had said to Hazrat Muaz bin Jabal
21:43that you are going to make a decision,
21:45tell me how will you make a decision?
21:47He said, I will see your command
21:49in the book of Allah.
21:51And if he said you did not get it,
21:53he said, aj tahidu bi rai.
21:55I will make Ijtihad with my opinion.
21:57And what is Ijtihad?
21:59It is the struggle and effort of the mind.
22:01The effort.
22:03I will try to make a decision
22:05with a lot of thought.
22:07So the question you asked
22:09whether Shariah commandments
22:11are also solved on the basis of Aql?
22:13Yes, they are definitely solved.
22:15And the simple answer to that is Qiyas.
22:17And there are many commandments
22:19which are implemented on the basis of Qiyas,
22:21on the basis of Aql,
22:23as Shariah commandments.
22:25And in that,
22:27the limits which are there
22:29will always remain.
22:31As Allama Sahab said in the first sentence,
22:33that Aql is
22:35based on Wahi.
22:37It is based on Shariah.
22:39Wahi is not based on Aql.
22:41No.
22:43No Qiyas
22:45can be against
22:47the Quran and Sunnah.
22:49The Qiyas and Aql
22:51that will be brought will be
22:53according to the principles.
22:55If someone's Qiyas,
22:57i.e. fighting for Aql,
22:59is against the principles of Quran and Hadith,
23:01then that Qiyas is called
23:03Qiyas-e-Farik, Mal-Farik.
23:05Now it is Batil.
23:07Now it is not accepted.
23:09Quran and Hadith.
23:11So the Aql is based on Wahi.
23:13And in that,
23:15a lot of decisions are made.
23:17And Allah has kept
23:19Noor,
23:21this Noor in the mind
23:23so that
23:25through this,
23:27a person can differentiate
23:29between right and wrong.
23:31MashaAllah.
23:33It is a matter of mutual understanding
23:35that when Allah and His Prophet
23:37are believers,
23:39how can there be a conflict?
23:41Here, even Aghiyar is taking
23:43benefit from you.
23:45Allah and His Prophet's
23:47followers are shown
23:49by the Prophet of Allah
23:51and his mother.
23:53This is the best thing
23:55in the world.
23:57This is the best advice.
23:59Even Aghiyar takes benefit from you.
24:01This is a different matter.
24:03The next question is
24:05Yes, InshaAllah,

24:11After Waqf,
24:13the topic of Aql is
24:15when Allah and His Prophet
24:17stand against each other,
24:19then this makes
24:21the best of creatures worse.

25:21today, through Aql,
25:23people are also trying
25:25to change the commandments
25:27of the Quran and Hadith.
25:29For example,
25:31A person says,
25:33See,
25:35it is forbidden to eat twice as much.
25:37If we take a little less,
25:39then it is permissible.
25:41Quran says,
25:43Allah and His Prophet
25:45are at war.
25:47Allah and His Prophet
25:49are at war.
25:51The commandments of
25:53gambling, alcohol,
25:55are forbidden.
25:57Aql says,
25:59see,
26:01it is forbidden.
26:03O servants of Allah,
26:05why are you misusing
