David Moyes faces a daunting task at Everton, with the club mired in a relegation battle and struggling for consistency. His immediate priorities must include shoring up a leaky defence, which has been a major weakness, and addressing their lack of creativity in midfield. Moyes must also restore confidence and unity within the squad to spark a turnaround and keep Everton in the Premier League.

00:00Looking at Everton and David Moyes coming in, what are the biggest changes expected
00:07under his second spell in charge of the club? Obviously, we've mentioned a number of times
00:14Everton over the last three or four years have really struggled. Is it a case of addressing
00:21the home form, making Goodison Park a really tough place to go again? Who are the players
00:27that could stand out under Moyes, do you think? The likes of Dwight McNeil was fantastic under
00:32Sean Dyche. Can he continue that under David Moyes? Is there any players to look at? What
00:37do you think his main goals straight away, his main priorities will be for his second
00:42spell at Everton? I don't think there'll be massive changes in terms of the playing style
00:47because we haven't got the players to do it, to go and change it completely. I think it'll
00:53develop over time. It's two spells at the end, two teams at the end of this Everton
01:00career where they played really good football and they want to work towards that. Scoring
01:04goals is the obvious one that he needs to address. Everton scores, as we speak, 15 Premier
01:10League goals in 19 games. It's not been good enough. They can't rely on the defence all
01:16the time. The defence are there, it's a good back four, a good back five with Jordan Pickford
01:21obviously, but maybe they've relied on Pickford a little bit too much this season as well.
01:26So getting Everton fired in the final third and then, as you say, maybe look on some of
01:31the players who might benefit. You're probably going through the squads and thinking, is
01:35Nathan Paterson going to get a chance at right-back now? He was scarcely used by Sean Dyche. He's
01:40had his injuries, to be fair to him. A lot of supporters have wanted to see that, but
01:46Sean Dyche said there's no evidence that N'Dai can play in that position. I think a
01:51lot of people would argue against that, given what he did at Sheffield United, all being
01:55in the Championship two seasons ago, but he's clearly developed as a player since then.
02:00Just going back to Nathan Paterson, are we going to see the full-backs attacking a little
02:03bit more? They have been quite restricted. Ashley Young and Vitaly Mikhalenko are ones
02:10that have really gone forward a lot. Given what he said about Dominic Calvert-Lewin can
02:16be the one that makes a difference. Does he look to play to Dominic Calvert-Lewin's strengths?
02:20Now, in these final six months, a lot has been made about his contract, but does David
02:25Moyes look and think, the best way to score goals is to give Dominic Calvert-Lewin a regular
02:31supply line, not make him so isolated. Get him balls into the box too and get him players
02:36around who he can link up with. Then the recruitment will be interesting as well,
02:42with the sorts of players that David Moyes will be eyeing. During his first spell,
02:46he brought some bargains in. He liked to dip into the Championship and get players in.
02:52Does he look at doing that as well again? Plenty of things to be looking at.
