00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World and our coffee catch-up video for this week.
00:03There are two slightly different things about this video today.
00:05The first is that instead of coffee, I've got a different hot beverage in the shape of an oval teen.
00:09Other malt drink brands are available.
00:11And secondly, this is coming out a day late, so there's some lovely extra stories for you.
00:14We have to start with Mr Patrick Hollis,
00:16who's written a phenomenal piece on Newman College in Oldham,
00:18where pupils are facing a slightly different curriculum,
00:20with focus on current affairs, breaking news,
00:23and topics that are relevant and important for young people.
00:25The interview with headteacher Glyn Potts is truly very interesting.
00:28Patrick also made a stop at Manchester Airport
00:30to talk to Diana Tylers, a member of the resilience team there.
00:33The role of the resilience team is to provide customer service support,
00:36as well as being able to jump from station to station.
00:38Essentially, it's about being a jack-of-all-trades and a great team member,
00:41and it's another top piece from Patrick.
00:43Now, it wouldn't be right to do a video like this and fail to mention Mr Rich Fay,
00:46who's been hard at work covering Manchester United's loss to Brighton at the weekend.
00:50The player ratings give a great bit of insight into individual performances during the game,
00:53but his piece on what Brighton coach Fabian Hertzler said
00:56about his opposite number in the Old Trafford dugout
00:58is fascinating and well worth a read.
