The coldest air of the winter is likely on the way as Siberian air lunges eastward next week after nosediving onto the Great Plains this weekend. A snow and ice storm is also likely across the South.

00:05And it's really going to take root across not only the northern tier of the nation,
00:08but also into the southern tier of the nation,
00:10which means those numbers are well below historical average.
00:14And if you look, that does spell the potential for snow or ice.

00:20could get in on that ice potential for us by the time we get into Tuesday.

00:27We're in the upper 60s Friday, feeling pretty mild.
00:29Even Saturday, fairly nice for us lower 60s.
00:32But we start to fall off Sunday into Monday when it gets cold
