00:00You can see these circular zones here near each of the radar sites that are detecting the lowest scans of the atmosphere.
00:07But there's obviously some snow in between these areas, too.
00:10So we're seeing some widespread lake-enhanced snow that will continue for the next several days through Thursday.
00:17And it's cold out there. We have some very low temperatures in our forecast.
00:21We're at 20 in Burlington, 22 into Portland, 30 in D.C., 33 in Virginia Beach.
00:27So, again, just beware of the freeze-thaw cycle, the refreezing on roads in Washington, D.C.
00:32Icy again tonight here. Be careful out there.
00:35It looks beautiful unless you're driving in it or trying to navigate down the sidewalk on a bike.
00:40Accurate to real field temperatures in Washington, D.C. tomorrow morning, down deep into the single digits.
00:45Make sure the kids are ready for that at the bus stop.
00:47Areas farther south, single digits down into the teens here for accurate to real field temperatures
00:51into areas around North Carolina, North Georgia, feeling like the teens.
00:55Heading north, though, you get into that medium blue shade up into Connecticut, northern Pennsylvania,
01:01and into areas like Kansas City.
01:03Accurate to real field temperatures here will be below zero during the morning hours tomorrow.
01:07Wednesday, that snow's going to be sticking around there on the ground in Cape May, New Jersey.
01:11A chilly day. We have more lake effect and lake-enhanced snow tomorrow night into early Thursday morning.
01:18Temps will get down to 12 in Charleston, West Virginia, and Columbus.
01:22Very cold there into Detroit. Snow showers, Pittsburgh, low of 14 tomorrow night.
01:27We'll get down to 20 in D.C., 21 in New York City.
01:30So very cold air for your Wednesday night to early Thursday morning.
01:3311 with some more snow showers in Burlington.
01:35Had it not been for the clouds and snow showers, you'd be even colder than that.
01:38But there's an upper-level low that will continue to supply snow showers to areas like Vermont, New Hampshire, and beyond.
01:44And the lakes are going to give that a little boost with lake-enhanced snow continuing through Thursday before the flow gets disrupted.
01:51Let's take a look at what's going on into other areas like Texas, preparing for a major winter storm in the south.
01:58Yeah, here it comes, right on the heels of this one that we were just tracking through the end of the weekend to start this week.
02:04And this storm's bringing a lot of the same impacts, in fact.
02:08And I want to break this down for you area by area because we're going to see a lot from this next storm.
02:14This goes Wednesday night through Friday night.
02:17We are anticipating that snow to pile up, accumulate, and we have that heaviest band setting up right across the Red River into central Arkansas, Little Rock included.
02:26Even down through Dallas, we can see a few inches accumulated by the end of this thing.
02:31Now, we are anticipating more ice to spread for areas a little bit further south and even a soaking rain for a few.
02:38All in all, this is going to cause major travel disruptions, especially as this snow marches east.
