00:00The Department of Justice is suing 62 counts of the fight against the Anti-Money Laundering Act,

00:07dismissed Mbantarlac Mayor Alice Guo.

00:09The parents and two brothers of Guo will also be sued,

00:13as well as 26 other people connected to the businesses of the former mayor.

00:19The cases recommended are due to the suspicious activities

00:23of the five companies that Guo was involved in,

00:26including the Pogo Hub in Mbantarlac.

00:29Based on the DOJ's resolution,

00:31it is clear that the money that Guo's companies received

00:35came from illegal activities,

00:38namely QJJ Farm and QC Genetics.

00:42The money was used for the expenses of Baofu Land,

00:46which owns the land where Pogo Compound is located in Mbantarlac,

00:50and Pogo Hongsheng and Xunyuan Technology,

00:54which passed the compound,

00:56According to DOJ Spokesperson Mico Clavano,

00:59the cases will be filed in the Manila Regional Trial Court.

01:03The DOJ's resolution is based on the complaint filed by

01:06the National Bureau of Investigation,

01:08Anti-Money Laundering Council,

01:11and Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission on August 30, 2024.

01:16Guo's camp is working hard to get the statement

01:19about the new cases.

01:21The former mayor was jailed in Pasig City Jail

01:24for the former Qualified Human Trafficking case.

01:27In the recent hearings in the Senate and the House of Representatives,

01:30Guo was unable to answer questions about his alleged businesses.
