00:00It's a number one priority to really make sure that we can catch the perpetrators and
00:07punish them and put in place effective deterrence so that anyone else thinking of spewing hate
00:15across our cities, across Australian cities that have had great cohesive communities living
00:23together peacefully, inclusively, respectfully.
00:29We've got to ramp up, we've got to tighten our laws and make sure we can put an end to
00:34this spate of hateful attacks.

00:39We're grateful for funding from the New South Wales government so that the Jewish community
00:44is able to increase measures of security, to have more guards outside specific sites.

01:01and punished and that is the number one priority here to make sure that they can be prosecuted
01:08more easily and that we can put in place an effective deterrence for others that may be
01:14considering these kind of extremist waves of behaviour.
