00:00In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
00:16I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan, the accursed in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
00:46In Surah Al-Fatiha of Surah Al-Furqan-e-Hameed, Allah Almighty has stated two things.
00:59In short, there are two things.
01:02One is, what is the way of asking from Allah?
01:09And the other is, what is the thing to be asked from Allah?
01:16Allah Almighty has stated in Surah Al-Furqan-e-Hameed,
01:20that one should be praised for asking from Allah.
01:27He has stated, praise Him, the Lord of the worlds.
01:31Praise Him, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
01:34Praise Him, the Lord of the Day of Judgment.
01:37Praise Him, the Lord of the Day of Judgment.
01:42And after praising Him, Allah Almighty has stated,
01:45that one should ask from Allah, and what is the thing to be asked from Allah?
01:50Allah Almighty has stated, ask from Allah,
01:55and give us the guidance of the straight path.
02:01Now, after reaching this point,
02:05a lot of things are revealed,
02:08that the people who walk on different paths,
02:11they walk on the straight path.
02:14However, some people walk in this direction, some in that direction.
02:20All of them are not on the same path,
02:23and all of them are not on the straight path.
02:26So, what is the straight path?
02:29Allah Almighty has explained that too.
02:31Allah Almighty has stated,
02:32The path of those on whom you have bestowed favours.
02:39Allah Almighty has stated, the path of those people.
02:42This means that in order to reach Allah Almighty,
02:45one has to choose the path of certain people.
02:48And who are those people?
02:50Those on whom I have bestowed favours.
02:58Choose the path of those people.
03:00Now, we have to see,
03:02who are those people who have been bestowed favours?
03:05These are all the paths that lead to Allah Almighty.
03:14The martyrs, the truthful, and the righteous.
03:17So, the guidance that Allah Almighty has given us,
03:23is that in order to reach me,
03:26you will have to choose the path of my servants.
03:29Once you reach there, then you will be able to.
03:33Now, the meaning of Wilayat,
03:39is used in many places in different meanings.
03:44Allah Almighty has stated,
03:46Allah is the Wali of those who believe.
03:53Here, Wali means helper.
03:56Allah Almighty is their helper.
03:58He is the one who has brought the faith of such people.
04:03Similarly, for the creation, Allah Almighty has stated,
04:13Those who are the Wali of Allah,
04:15have no fear, nor will they be sad.
04:19Fear is of the future,
04:24and sadness is of the past.
04:29So, the saints have no fear of the future.
04:33This is the reason,
04:35that the people of other religions have also thought,
04:39which Allama Iqbal has stated in his own words,
04:47Remove the soul of Muhammad from his body.
04:50The soul of Muhammad is present in his body,
04:53so he is not afraid of anything.
04:56So, the believers have no fear.
04:59They have no fear of anything.
05:02nor will they be sad.
05:05Once, Hazrat Sheikh Sadiq A.S. writes,
05:09In the field of Roadbar,
05:12I saw a man riding a lion,
05:15and he has made a snake shell.
05:19He says,
05:20When I saw him,
05:21I felt as if the ground came out of my feet.
05:24Both are enemies,
05:25the lion and the snake are enemies.
05:27What kind of a man is he,
05:29that he is riding an enemy,
05:31and he has made a shell.
05:33So, seeing my condition,
05:35that rider said to me,
05:37Sadiq, why are you worried?
05:39You can also do this.
05:41I will tell you a remedy.
05:43And that remedy is,
05:49Do not be angry with his command.
05:51No one will be angry with your command.
05:54You keep believing in him,
05:56the world will keep believing in you.
05:58Today, this is the situation.
06:00Wherever the saints have come,
06:02they are sleeping in their shrines.
06:04So, their spiritual benevolence is continuous.
06:07Because they have obeyed the Lord of the Universe all their lives.
06:11They have obeyed his command.
06:14Because of that,
06:17whatever he used to say,
06:19it used to happen.
06:21It is mentioned in Hadith-e-Paq,
06:23that there are many people,
06:25that there are many people,
06:27that there are many people,
06:29that there are many people,
06:31whose physical condition,
06:33does not look so good.
06:35But their inner world is such,
06:37that if they swear on Allah,
06:39then Allah fulfills that oath.
06:41Then Allah fulfills everything they say.
06:45This is the glory of the saints.
06:47And it is mentioned in the Quran.
06:54They have no fear.
06:56They will not have any sorrow.
06:58Who are those people?
07:01Those who believe and become righteous.
07:05So, after belief,
07:07So, after belief,
07:09after belief,
07:11there is a level,
07:13there is a level,
07:15of righteousness.
07:17And righteousness,
07:19what is it called?
07:21One meaning of righteousness,
07:23is to fear Allah.
07:25And in Sufism,
07:27the meaning of righteousness is different.
07:29It is mentioned in Hadith-e-Paq.
07:31The Sahabi says,
07:37When the war was at its peak,
07:39When the war was at its peak,
07:41when they brought the Prophet
07:43between themselves and the enemy,
07:45when they brought the Prophet
07:47between themselves and the enemy,
07:49then they had no fear.
07:51So, the meaning of righteousness
07:53is those who believe,
07:55and have Allah's existence
07:57and have Allah's existence
07:59between them and the enemy.
08:01Their focus is only on Allah's existence.
08:03Then no enemy can harm them.
08:05Then no enemy can harm them.
08:07This is the glory of the saints.
08:09This is the glory of the saints.
08:11They do not fear anyone.
08:13There was a scholar,
08:17a very perfect scholar,
08:19who came to a saint,
08:21who came from a far place,
08:23to perform the Bai'at.
08:25The scholar's focus is on everything.
08:27If I am performing the Bai'at,
08:29will my Sheikh have any shortcomings?
08:31If I am performing the Bai'at,
08:33will my Sheikh have any shortcomings?
08:35He liked the entire analysis.
08:37He read the Quran
08:39in a very simple way.
08:41He did not read it
08:43according to the requirements
08:45of the Quran.
08:47Maulana thought,
08:49I have travelled
08:51from a far place,
08:53and if I perform the Bai'at,
08:55I am a Qari,
08:57I know the Quran,
08:59I know the principles
09:01of the Quran,
09:03and if my Sheikh does not know
09:05then how will I perform the Bai'at?
09:07Let's go somewhere else
09:09and perform the Bai'at.
09:11He stayed overnight.
09:13He was planning to leave in the morning.
09:15When he woke up in the morning,
09:17he took his lottery and left.
09:19He saw a lion on the road.
09:25He stopped.
09:27If the lion passes,
09:29should I go to perform the Bai'at?
09:31The lion did not take the name of leaving.
09:33The time of Tahajjud was over.
09:35The time of the morning prayer
09:37had started.
09:39The lion did not take the name of leaving.
09:41When the time of Fajr prayer
09:43was about to end,
09:45Maulana came
09:47and scolded the lion.
09:49He said, you trouble my guests.
09:51This incident is written
09:53in Tafseer-ul-Bayan
09:55by Allama Ismail Hakki.
09:57When Maulana said,
09:59you trouble my guests,
10:01the lion went away
10:03shivering.
10:05Maulana held his head
10:07and said,
10:09on one hand,
10:11your recitation of Alhamdulillah
10:13is not correct.
10:15On the other hand,
10:17you are ordering the lion.
10:19You have corrected the words
10:21and we have corrected the meanings.
10:23Correcting the words
10:25is not enough.
10:27Correcting the meanings
10:29is not enough.
10:31Therefore,
10:33the Zikr of the Sufis
10:35is not limited
10:37to the words.
10:39They keep the meaning of the Zikr
10:41in mind.
10:43While walking,
10:45sitting,
10:47sleeping,
10:49they keep the meaning
10:51of the Kalima
10:53in mind.
10:55It does not mean
10:57that there is no God.
10:59It does not mean
11:01that there is no purpose.
11:03It does not mean
11:05that there is no existence
11:07other than Allah.
11:09They do not understand
11:11anyone other than Allah.
11:13Respected viewers,
11:15the purpose of Zikr is
11:17not only to repeat the words.
11:19The real Zikr is
11:21to understand
11:23its meaning
11:25and to implement it
11:27on yourself.
11:29This is the Zikr of Kalima Sharif.
11:31While standing,
11:33sitting, walking,
11:35sleeping,
11:37you have to implement
11:39its meaning on yourself.
11:41The negation of Allah
11:43is
11:45that
11:47the whole world
11:49should be nothing to him.
11:51I often say
11:53that
11:55the meaning of human
11:57is the one who forgets.
11:59The one who forgets
12:01means that he forgets
12:03the whole universe.
12:05This is one stage.
12:07The next stage is
12:09that he forgets
12:11this forgetting.
12:13He forgets himself.
12:15These are the three stages
12:17according to which
12:19the Sufis follow.
12:23When you say Allah,
12:25then
12:27in his eyes,
12:29there is nothing
12:31in the whole universe.
12:33There is only that One.
12:35His attention is only
12:37to that One.
12:39If we understand that
12:41there is that One
12:43and there is this One,
12:45according to the Sufis,
12:47this is also Shirk.
12:49To accept another being.
12:51There is only that One
12:53and there is no other being.
12:55The whole universe
12:57is like a bubble.
12:59Just like a bubble
13:01has no existence,
13:03similarly, there is no existence
13:05of the whole universe.
13:07The existence is only of Allah.
13:09The meaning of La ilaha
13:11is that he is only that One
13:13and there is nothing else.
13:15In this way,
13:17the Sufis
13:19mentioned
13:21Allah's existence
13:23and negated everything else.
13:25After that,
13:27they negate their own existence.
13:29After this,
13:31the next stage is
13:33that they forget
13:35to forget this.
13:37This is the status of the Sufis
13:39that they are so lost
13:41in their own existence
13:43that they have no knowledge
13:45of the world.
13:47This is the status of the Sufis
13:49that their tongue
13:51is influenced by
13:53what they say.
13:55This is why
13:57Allah says
13:59that
14:01whatever comes out
14:03of their tongue
14:05is what they say.
14:07Huzoor,
14:09Hazrat Baba Fariduddin
14:11Masood Ganj-e-Shakr
14:13was going to Quds-e-Sasr-ul-Aziz
14:15and he used to say
14:17that there was sugar in the sacks
14:19and Huzoor asked
14:21what was in it.
14:23He said that it was salt.
14:25Huzoor said that if it was salt,
14:27then it was salt.
14:29The sacks of sugar
14:31became salt.
14:33Huzoor said that it was sugar
14:35and it became sugar again.
14:37So, these saints
14:39have been blessed
14:41by Allah
14:43and Huzoor said
14:45that
14:47go to my servants
14:49and follow their path
14:51and then you will reach me.
14:53Allama Ismail Hakki
14:55has said
14:57a beautiful thing about this.
14:59He says that
15:01when you pray,
15:03you should
15:05read Surah Fatihah
15:07Iyyaka naabudu
15:09wa iyyaka nastaheen
15:11which means
15:13we worship you
15:15and we ask
15:17help from you.
15:19This is the meaning of Jumma.
15:21So, this Surah
15:23is read when I am in the Jamaat
15:25and when I am alone.
15:27In the Jamaat,
15:29Iyyaka naabudu wa iyyaka nastaheen
15:31is read in the same way.
15:33When I am alone,
15:35Iyyaka naabudu wa iyyaka nastaheen
15:37is read in the same way.
15:39We worship you
15:41and we ask help from you.
15:43So, if there is one person,
15:45we should not call him.
15:47If a person is praying alone,
15:49what is the reason for that?
15:51Allama Ismail Hakki
15:53says that
15:55when a person is praying alone,
15:57he thinks that
15:59his worship has many flaws
16:01and weaknesses
16:03and that is why
16:05he is not worthy
16:07of his worship.
16:11When Sheikh-e-Karim
16:13prays alone,
16:15he also reads
16:17Iyyaka naabudu wa iyyaka nastaheen.
16:19This means that
16:21his worship
16:23is not worthy
16:25of the worship
16:27of his followers.
16:29So,
16:31his worship
16:33is not worthy
16:35of the worship
16:37of his followers.
17:05This is a matter of Shariah
17:07which the Qazi will decide
17:09in this way.
17:11So, on the Day of Judgment,
17:13when our actions
17:15will be revealed,
17:17when our actions
17:19will be revealed,
17:21when our actions
17:23will be revealed,
17:25when our actions
17:27will be revealed,
17:29when our actions
17:31will be revealed,
17:33when our actions
17:35will be revealed
17:37when our actions
17:39will be revealed,
17:41then Huzoor will say
17:43that my Lord,
17:45my Lord,
17:47my Lord,
17:49my Lord,
17:51my Lord,
17:53my Lord,
17:55my Lord,
