00:00PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco Marville ordered the entire PNP force to prioritize the safety and security of the public during the New Year's gathering.

00:15Before the New Year's gathering, the incident of stray bullet and indiscriminate filing of the Philippine National Police or PNP was reported.
00:23According to PNP Spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Gene Fajardo, four cases of stray bullet have been reported.
00:29Three of them were from NCR and one from Region 9.
00:33Fifteen cases of indiscriminate firing were reported.
00:36Four were from NCR, six from Calabarzon, two from Region 7, and one from Region 9 and 11.
00:45We will not get tired of reminding and talking to our fellow countrymen that as much as possible,
00:52you should not use guns in any kind of revelries or festivities because you may cause disgrace to other people.
01:03The increase in the number of firecrackers victims has been continued to more than 500, according to PNP.
01:11PNP is reminding the public to prepare for the New Year's gathering and to avoid illegal firecrackers.
01:16Philippine National Police Chief of Police General Rommel Francisco Marvill was the first to order all its personnel to prioritize the safety and security of the public during the New Year's gathering.
01:28The PNP chief made the announcement as a warning for a peaceful celebration of the said occasion,
01:33as well as the preparedness of the police in case of any emergency, including fires and incidents involving firecrackers.
01:41The PNP has assigned first aid responders for the victims of firecrackers.
01:45They will also remind the Bureau of Fire Protection to reduce the number of fires if there is a fire.
01:53Marvill also warned anyone who will burn tires to block the roads that are obstructing their way in case of an emergency.
02:03At the same time, the PNP chief also warned the public of the danger of firecrackers that may destroy properties and be a threat to the survival of the people.
02:15We will follow the laws and procedures that we are issuing. We will continue to talk and ask for cooperation from them.
