The storm train along the West Coast has come to a temporary end, but windiness is returning.
Transcript
00:00We have some action in the West here,
00:02but it's not the former precipitation
00:03as much as fire danger on the
00:05South side of this high.
00:06Yeah, drier into the Northwest,
00:08which is a welcome sight because we've
00:10been on this storm train ride and it
00:12wasn't letting us off all last week,
00:14though now we have a little bit of a break,
00:17though the storms do return
00:19again by the late week.
00:20Santa Ana winds,
00:21though further South,
00:22as Jeff was mentioning,
00:23we do have some of those impacts here.
00:25Yeah, this is going to be a concern.
00:28The strong winds are going to be
00:30mainly in the canyons and passes.
00:31Most of us will see gusts of 20 to 40
00:34mph which is not as strong as we've
00:36seen elsewhere, but you can see Bree.
00:38You got some colder air building
00:39into the Bay Area then on the
00:41backside of this. Yeah, we have
00:43some freeze warnings in effect.
00:44Not good for the great power,
00:46even just for great country Napa.
00:47Even down the Hollister.
00:48We are concerned about that.
00:50Even further West or East.
00:51We do have some problems on the
00:53board when it comes to winter weather.
00:55Even a snow squall warning east of Cheyenne.
00:57East of Cheyenne.
