00:00If you're fed up with asking for leftover ham, we have a solution.
00:07Let's make leftover ham for breakfast.
00:11Yes, you heard it right, Kapuso!
00:14Let's go for dessert mode with Artisan Ham Ice Cream.
00:21Cut the leftover ham into small cubes.
00:24Later, this ham bits will give a different texture to our Artisan Ice Cream.
00:33Toast the ham bits until crispy.
00:36Okay, once the texture is like this, it means that it's ready.
00:42Next, we'll make the ice cream mixture.
00:45We have here 3 cups of heavy cream and 2 cups of sugar.
00:52This double broiler we made is just an improvised one.
00:58We have a casserole and we put a stainless bowl.
01:03We'll put the mixture we made in the double broiler.
01:08While waiting for the mixture to blend, we'll make the custard.
01:13Just combine the egg yolk and sugar.
01:17Then, we'll mix it with the ice cream mixture.
01:21So here, right away, we have to mix it because if you don't mix it, what will happen is it will be scrambled eggs.
01:35Our cue is that it has little bubbles coming out from the mixture.
01:41It's our cue that we can put it out here.
01:45We'll put it in an improvised ice bath so that the mixture will cool down faster.
