00:00More than 55,200 families were affected by the shear line
00:05according to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
00:08That's equivalent to more than 200,000 individuals from 232 barangays.
00:16Most of the affected are residents living in Western and Eastern Visayas.
00:22According to the DSWD,
00:23more than 100 families are currently living in 14 evacuation centers
00:30while the government has set aside enough funds for the residents.
00:35As of now, they have distributed more than Php 4 million of humanitarian assistance in the area.
00:41As of now, the agency has a total of Php 2 billion of relief resources
00:46including standby funds and stockpile of food and non-food items.
