00:00We've nominated Charles Davis for the President's Award because we feel that Charles' efforts
00:12for the club and Pembrokeshire District as well should be rewarded.
00:19Charles is 91 years of age, he's still active, he's our president, he attends every committee
00:25meeting, he still picks the man of the match for home games.
00:29He's also somebody we can look up to, he's been around forever, everybody knows him.
00:34We need volunteers in the game, we're an amateur sports club like so many others and without
00:39them we just will not function and Charles is a prime example of people who have devoted
00:44their life to the club from players through to secretary, committee man, everything else
00:51plus all the things he did for Pembrokeshire District, Pembroke County, District H, secretary
00:57there for many years, his contribution to rugby is immense.
01:02Volunteers are a vital aspect of any club, we're running age group rugby from under sevens
01:09upwards, it's all the volunteers in the background that ensure that we can continue with rugby
01:18the way we do.
01:20Every club needs them, we're no different to anybody in that respect.
01:24Well there we go Charlie, he's a bit of a mentor.
01:26When I took the secretary's role, Charlie retired from that role a few years before,
01:33he was able to advise and help me along the way.
01:37His experience was immense.
01:39You off Charles?
