00:00Education Secretary Sonny Angara, who was appointed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.,

00:06promised to fix the government's fund next year after the Bicameral Conference Committee reduced it.

00:14PhilHealth, which has a zero government subsidy in 2025, is also planning to pay for its expenses.

00:22Daniel Manalastas was in the center of the news.

00:26President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. himself is planning to fix the budget of the Department of Education for next year.

00:36That was confirmed by Secretary Sonny Angara from the Executive Board.

00:41The budget of the DepEd will be remembered based on the latest version of the Bicam.

00:46According to Angara, this is after the promises and good words were given to them.

00:52Another hot topic is the budget of PhilHealth after what Dr. Tony Liatsion promised.

00:58But PhilHealth clarified that for the celebration of their 30th anniversary,

01:03next year will be the breakdown of expenses promised by Liatsion, which is not yet final.

01:10PhilHealth also assured the public that they are anchored in transparency and taking care of the funds of their members.

01:17But according to some senators,

01:19it's really sad.

01:20It's true.

01:21We need proof.

01:23Maybe they have private sources.

01:27But even so,

01:29those kind of actions should reduce the ostentatious behavior.

01:39Let's see what the proof is.

01:42It will prove that PhilHealth really has a lot of money.

01:46That's why they were not given an additional subsidy.

01:52Senator Pia Cayetano said in an interview with DWIZ

01:56that in the Constitution, education should have the highest budget.
