00:00The government approved the funding for calamity projects.
00:04Meanwhile, the health department approved the new dental healthcare package for preventive care.

00:16DBM Secretary Amina Pangandaman approved the 1 billion pesos funding for the DPWH infrastructure projects
00:25that are related to calamity.
00:27The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund, or NDRRMF, shared 22.736 billion pesos in 2024.
00:39The Department of Health, or DOH, and PhilHealth approved the first preventive oral healthcare package
00:45that includes screenings, cleanings, fluoride treatments, emergency extractions, and other dental procedures.
00:53Its goal is to help Filipinos maintain 20 permanent teeth until the age of 70 as a support for universal healthcare.
01:03Meanwhile, the National Authority of Child Care, or NACC, and Quezon City approved the first Memorandum of Agreement,
01:11or MOA, for the Domestic Administrative Adoption and Foster Care Program,
01:16which aims to make adoption and foster care more accessible in the city.
01:21Undersecretary Janela Ejercito-Estrada approved the agreement
01:25and encouraged the preparation of children who cannot be adopted through the Life Skills Program.
01:31At present, more than 1,000 foster children are in the care of 897 licensed foster parents.
