00:00636 victims of online child exploitation were arrested by the Philippine National Police since 2022
00:10under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
00:14According to the PNP, the youngest person arrested was a 4-month-old girl who was sold to Dark Web.
00:21She was arrested in an operation by the PNP Women and Children Protection Center in Taguig City.
00:29Since 2022, more than 300 operations were conducted by the PNP
00:34under the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children Act.
00:41145 of these operations were carried out in 2024.
00:47This resulted in the arrest of more than 100 suspects
00:52while more than 200 cases were filed, of which 12 have already been convicted by the court.
