00:00He was crowned as the youngest world champion in the FIDE World Championship 2024
00:04by 18-year-old Indian Grandmaster Gukesh Dhumaraju.
00:09Dhumaraju defeated the defending champion Ding Liren of China in their 14-game match in Singapore
00:18which ended with a score of 7.5 to 6.5.
00:22Before the last match, both chess masters had a score of 8 draws and 2 wins.
00:28But in the end, Dhumaraju was more determined to play black chess pieces
00:33after he found a hole in the position of Ding's white pieces.
00:38Because of this victory, Dhumaraju became the youngest undisputed world champion
00:43and replaced Garry Kasparov who won the title at the age of 22 in 1985.
