00:42Welcome back to Still Potable!
00:56The best Celtics podcast out there on Al Gore's fine World Wide Web.
01:01I am Sam Jam Packer joined by producer extraordinaire Sean Gauthier.
01:06And we figure, you know, this is a fun potable postgame show.
01:10It's been behind the paywall for a while. Why not give it to the folks for free just for this week?
01:16This week's potable postgame is on the CLNS YouTube page.
01:20That means we are brought to you by the fine folks at PrizePix and the Game Time app.
01:24And Sean, we're coming to you after the Celtics.
01:28Tell me if this feels a bit familiar to you.
01:30The Celtics kind of, without Jason Tatum, handily beat the Detroit Pistons in a fun game at the TD Garden.
01:38Yeah, I feel like it's a little bit of deja vu here.
01:42Yeah, we did this exact same thing last week.
01:44Actually, last week's game, I think, was much closer because the Pistons made much more of a go of it.
01:50But tonight's game, the Celtics win 123 to 99.
01:55Hey, the Pistons got to 99 points.
01:57But to me, the story of this game was the four whites.
02:02Derek, Peyton Pritchard, Chris Tapps Porzingis, and Luke Cornett.
02:08I think all four of them had fantastic games.
02:11I'm going to start with Derek White.
02:13Just because he, in his last three games, was just not hitting from three.
02:17And it kind of had, no one was really concerned, but people noticed.
02:21I noticed. It was like, what's going on with this?
02:23And he came back and just had a fantastic game, especially from deep.
02:28All seven of his shots from beyond the arc, seven of 12, for 23 points.
02:34It's just nice to see him shooting again.
02:37And it's just so comfortable in that shot.
02:40And especially in a game where they don't have Jason Tatum, you're going to need three-point shooting like that.
02:44And I thought he was huge, especially in that second quarter when the Celtics went on this kind of run to extend the game.
02:50And the Pistons never really recovered.
02:54He's got so much confidence in his shot.
02:57You don't see it in his face. He's always Derek White, very casual.
03:01But he'll pull up with someone so close to him in the tiniest bit of space.
03:07He's like, yep, I'm doing it, I'm ready, this is enough space.
03:10And it always looks good.
03:13Yeah, and it's just such a wild change from where he was when he first came to the Celtics, when he had hair.
03:18And now he's gone bald. He has his own beer that I think they discontinued and then brought back due to serious customers' demands.
03:26And I just thought it's just nice to see him get back in the shooting.
03:32Players are going to have that downswing, but I thought he was fantastic tonight.
03:36Surprise, surprise, we say this after every single game.
03:40Peyton Pritchard, a dog.
03:42Peyton Pritchard, he also hit seven threes from beyond the arc.
03:46Combined, just the two of those guys hit 14 threes.
03:49The Pistons only had seven.
03:52The Pistons had two threes in the first half.
03:55They shot way better from three in that game last week.
03:59And if we're just going based on the math alone, obviously the Celtics are going to win this game.
04:05But to have Peyton Pritchard, it seems like the Celtics are pretty locked in no matter what.
04:11They're going to bring Peyton Pritchard off the bench.
04:14I don't know if that's just a rhythm thing.
04:16I don't know if that's a gunning for sixth man of the year type thing.
04:20They kind of refused to start Malcolm Brogdon two years ago just so he would win sixth man of the year.
04:24And it worked out well, so I'm here for it.
04:27But it seems like all Peyton Pritchard does is come in the game and drop at least 20 points.
04:32He had some crazy moves today.
04:34Just like some, I think Scal described that as two stepbacks or like larger stepbacks
04:40where he does more dribble moves or behind the back dribble.
04:43Takes two large stepbacks behind the arc and knocks him down.
04:46He just continues to be fantastic.
04:49Oh, also because he got some run in with his garbage time, he poured in 10 assists as well.
04:56Can you pour in assists? I don't think you can pour in assists.
04:58But I said poured in.
05:00But he just continues to be, it's just absurd at this point.
05:05It's just, I had a lot of belief in Peyton Pritchard.
05:09I thought he was going to be a very good basketball player.
05:12And I never thought he would be to this consistent of a shooter.
05:17Where it's like you expect basically every single one of his threes to go in at this point.
05:22Which is absurd because he's the sixth or seventh best player on the team at this point.
05:28Maybe better, maybe better. I felt bad saying that.
05:33Yeah, exactly. And you don't only expect corner threes.
05:38You expect the deepest three you've ever seen to go in.
05:41You expect heaves to go in when Pritchard puts them up.
05:44It's like, yeah, the evolution of Peyton Pritchard is insane.
05:47He hit one today over Beef Stew where he was spot up six feet behind the arc.
05:54And Beef Stew is in great defensive position for any other shooter in the league.
05:59And it's just like, there's nothing you can really do about that.
06:02When a guy is that far behind the line, there's no real good defense to play.
06:08And I saw someone else tweet this out.
06:11I think it's a bit of an absurd comparison.
06:13Just because the league is in a totally different place.
06:16But if you look at Peyton Pritchard's numbers from this year.
06:19And Steph Curry's numbers from the 2013-2014 season.
06:23Similar percentage and similar amount of threes attempted a game.
06:28Is Peyton Pritchard the next Steph Curry?
06:30Yes. I think that's the conclusion we can all agree on.
06:33Now, if I was a smart person.
06:36And maybe wanted to make some moolah off Peyton Pritchard.
06:40I would just go on Prize Picks.
06:43And pick Peyton Pritchard hires all day, every day.

07:23Again, use promo code CLNS to get $50 instantly after you play your first $5 lineup.
07:29Prize Picks, run your game.
07:32Now, we've covered half the weights.
07:36Now we get to the 7-footers.
07:39And this was a lineup that actually, I feel like we haven't seen it a lot before.
07:44But there was moments in this game where both Chris Tapps, Porzingis, and Lou Cornette were on the court.
07:50They turned in one of the best highlights I think we've seen.
07:54I'm a sucker for big-to-big passing.
07:57When a big on the high block passes to a big on the low block, that's just fun.
08:02That's just good breakfast. That's fun for everyone involved.
08:05This one involved Luke catching the ball from Chris Tapps on the low block.
08:09Immediately swinging to, I think it was Derek White.
08:11Maybe it was Peyton Pritchard in the corner to knock down the three.
08:15But both Chris Tapps and Luke Cornette had fantastic teams.
08:21I just felt like Chris Tapps just started early and was aggressive.
08:27He had eight shots in the first quarter.
08:29Only seven points, but I think he was hustling the entire evening.
08:34He only ended up with 19 points.
08:36I don't think we've seen a big volume game from Chris Tapps so far.
08:39But I felt like there's a bunch of times where in transition, he's running the floor.
08:44I thought the Celtics did a very good job of shedding the seal on a cross match
08:48and getting him the basketball.
08:50It may not have showed up in the points wise for Chris Tapps,
08:54but I thought he just passed the ball really well,
08:57including the big-to-big situations with Luke Cornette.
09:01It's just such a luxury to talk about a guy shooting so far behind the line.
09:07That's just a thing Chris Tapps can do.
09:10It makes him very dangerous, but that's not the focus of his game.
09:13It's much more of the shots on the interior,
09:16but it's just such an easy thing to just dump the ball on him,
09:20especially when teams are switching.
09:22Yeah, it's like you were saying with Pritchard.
09:24How do you guard that?
09:26If you're a center, you don't want to be rushing out several feet behind the three-point line.
09:34But you have to guard it, and if you even try to,
09:39Porzingis is more than capable of just up-faking and driving right past you
09:43or making the right read and dishing out the right pass.
09:46It's insane that we have so many guys that can be on our team.
09:50It's also insane that one of them is 7'3", and one of them is 5'11".
09:53But yeah, this team seems hard to beat.
09:59That's why they don't lose a lot of games.
10:02I think you're absolutely right.
10:03Now I'm going to bring in a special correspondent.
10:05I think he's got something to say about Luke Cornett.
10:08I know he's a big Luke Cornett guy, and I thought he'd join to talk about it right now.
10:14Joshua B., one of the legends on the Still Potable podcast.
10:19How are you doing tonight, Joshua B.?
10:21I'm great, and this is the night for you to take your victory lap.
10:25You were calling for Luke Cornett.
10:27It's our victory lap, Josh. It's our victory lap.
10:30You were telling J.K. professionally that you expected double-doubles from Luke Cornett
10:36literally all the way back to last year.
10:38Three years ago. Two years ago.
10:40Two years ago you were calling for it.
10:42Now Luke Cornett has stolen Heat culture.
10:45He can now do these double-doubles on a regular basis.
10:48You might go so far as to call him, I don't know, let's say the next Jokic.
10:54I want to stop you right there because I don't think he's ever gotten a double-double yet.
10:59He's always teasing me.
11:01I meant to say the next Nikola Jovic.
11:03Oh, OK. From Heat. Yeah, that's fair.
11:06Just like that.
11:07I'm actually calling because I saw a really cool question in the chat,
11:11and I need Sean's opinion and yours, Jim.
11:14And I think I might be inclined to agree with this Celtics homer that I am.
11:21What does Peyton Pritchard have to do to be an all-star in the Eastern Conference this year?
11:29I think that he has a better case than Derek White had last year
11:33with some of the shots that he's hitting, some of the stretch plays that he's making,
11:37and a lot of the minutes that he's playing.
11:39So I'm interested in your take.
11:41Hell, I would go so far as to say that that is the kind of question
11:46that you would want to have in a potable six-pack that you could hear
11:50anytime you joined the Still Potable podcast family,
11:54where they are literally doing podcasts for gods and legends five days a week
11:59and also on the CLNS media feed, whatever is available.
12:04So I'm interested to hear your answer to that question,
12:07and I'm interested to hear B. Robin and Jay's answer and Sean's answer
12:11because Sean is the one who called Peyton Pritchard literally just a few games ago.
12:15I think that's a big question.
12:17I don't think that's some BS question that should just be blown off.
12:20I think everybody should have a take on that.
12:23Josh B. out.
12:25Thanks, Josh B.
12:26I was initially going to be rather glib when I was answering that question
12:29because the idea of a Peyton Pritchard all-star at first seems poppycock,
12:36but then I went back and I looked at last year's all-star team.
12:40Tyrese Halliburton was a starting guard.
12:42I don't think Tyrese Halliburton is having an all-star season.
12:45Tyrese Maxey made the all-star team.
12:48I haven't looked at the numbers, but the Sixers are bad,
12:50so I would assume Tyrese Maxey is not having a great all-star year.
12:55Trey Young, maybe.
12:57Julius Randle was an all-star.
12:59He's in a different conference right now.
13:01I would assume Donovan Mitchell makes it.
13:03I would assume Jalen Brunson makes it.
13:05It's going to be tough.
13:07If I had to bet, unless I got 200 to 1 odds,
13:13I'm not taking the bet on Peyton Pritchard being an all-star.
13:16But I think it's a more interesting case.
13:19That being said, I think Derek White, all-star candidacy,
13:26might be more of a thing just because of the kind of situation in the East
13:31where there's not a lot of great Eastern Conference teams right now.
13:34You also have Paolo and Franz are both hurt.
13:37So there's just more all-star opportunities, I would say,
13:43in the Eastern Conference.
13:45That being said, I brought Joshua Beyond to talk about Luke Cornett,
13:50and he did not do that whatsoever.
13:52And he said, I wanted to take a victory lap,
13:56and then he went into something completely different.
13:58I'm taking my victory lap.
14:00Luke Cornett was fantastic tonight.
14:02He seems to have just a lot of skill around the rim.
14:07They brought in Paul Reed to start the end of the first quarter,
14:11and Luke Cornett just absolutely dominated on the inside.
14:15All business.
14:16They said he got a new haircut.
14:17It didn't look like he got a new haircut,
14:19or he didn't get a very good haircut.
14:21But 12 points from him, seven boards, not a double-double.
14:24I predicted he would get a double-double when Robert Williams got hurt
14:28at the start of the 21-22 season,
14:32and it just has not got a double-double since then.
14:35But I think he's just definitely solidified himself as the third big.
14:40I thought it was interesting how much the Celtics went to double bigs tonight,
14:43and especially, again, that Chris Tapps and Luke Cornett lineup.
14:46I thought it was impressive because both those guys, I think,
14:49are very good passers, and maybe it's extreme recency bias
14:53because of that real cool highlight I described before.
14:56I think both of those, if you're going to play two bigs, you need –
15:00Chris Tapps can obviously stretch the floor,
15:02but Luke Cornett can play with the ball in his hands
15:04and make plays similar to Al Horford.
15:07I just think he's a knowledgeable big man in terms of when to cut,
15:10when to pass, especially on the short roll.
15:13I think he's always kind of looking to try and find guys,
15:17swing the ball to the other side.
15:20Luke Cornett, fantastic tonight.
15:22Yeah.
15:23I mean, when I looked up and saw that it was Cornett
15:27and Porzingis together out there, I was like, oh, no.
15:30Why would we do that?
15:32But you're right.
15:33It does make a ton of sense.
15:34It did work, and especially with Tatum out, you need the size
15:38because the Pistons were going to be small.
15:40So it's like if you've got the seven footers, play the seven footers,
15:44and we've got so many of them.
15:46So it's like put them out there.
15:48Chris Tapps was shooting over the top of guys.
15:50Luke was getting a bunch more dunks than I feel like we're used to
15:53seeing him get in a game.
15:55And even like Nimi, it was, you know,
15:57I think it was garbage time at this point,
15:59but like Nimi also had like kind of a scoop shot over somebody
16:02like playing the size advantage and getting those two bigs in.
16:06It just, yeah, it looked good.
16:07And I mean, everyone's plus minus numbers are insane tonight
16:10because, you know, they won by so many points.
16:12But like, yeah, Cornett 16, Porzingis 23,
16:16like great numbers from the, from the two of them on the court.
16:20Yeah.
16:21And you're talking about plus minus single game plus minus got to do it
16:24in a post game podcast.
16:26Jalen Brown played 30 minutes.
16:29He was a plus 30 every minute he was in the game.
16:31The team was a point better.
16:33He was not the most aggressive tonight.
16:35Only took 12 shots, 50% knocked him down.
16:38I thought he was pretty good distributing the ball, especially early.
16:41As we saw in the last Pistons game,
16:43he had six assists tonight to go along with nine boards.
16:46And he just didn't really need to need to score that much.
16:50It was just the advantage that the Celtics had.
16:53They still knocked down 23s.
16:55Like I said, before 14 coming from Pritchard and Porzingis,
16:58Drew holiday knocked down to himself,
17:00including one of those crazy drew holiday step-backs.
17:03So you go, so why did you take that Drew?
17:05And it went in.
17:06And so, you know,
17:07we've been talking about drew shooting all week on still potable.
17:10Nice to see those go in.
17:13You know what Sean, if you,
17:17if you wanted to go to a live event this weekend,
17:20is there a certain app that you might pick in terms of trying to go
17:25to that live event?
17:26Say your younger brother lets you go to his first high school
17:29varsity basketball game.
17:31What the app would you use to get tickets to that?
17:35There is, there is one, one app that I'm, that I'm thinking of.
17:39It's kind of the only one I actually ever really use
17:41when I'm looking to go to a live, live event.
17:44Are you, are you talking about the game time app?
17:46I'm talking about the game time app.
17:48I thought you would because the game time app makes it easier to save
17:51more on sports concerts, comedy, and theater tickets.
17:55They got all in pricing.
17:56You just toggle the feature and everything shows up front.
17:59No surprise fees, nothing to check out.
18:02I'm not sure about your brother's high school game,
18:04but at most places you can get a panoramic view from your seat before you
18:08buy lowest price guarantee or game time will credit you 110% of the difference.
18:15So take the guesswork out of buying tickets with the game time app,
18:18download the app, create an account,
18:19and use promo code CLNS for $20 off your first purchase.
18:23Terms apply again, create an account and redeem code CLNS for $20 off.
18:28Download game time today.
18:29What time is it?
18:30Game time.
18:32Before we get to the junk, how's your brother doing his game?
18:36I don't know.
18:37He hasn't texted me back.
18:38He's, he's one of those kids.
18:39I don't know what it is.
18:41My, I don't know.
18:42Maybe it's just my siblings.
18:43Maybe it's, maybe it's just, you know, kids today.
18:46Although I've got three younger brothers, their phones are always dead.
18:49Their phones are dead 100% of the time.
18:51And I'm just like, I don't leave my house without a charger.
18:55I also charge my phone overnight.
18:56I'm like, what?
18:57I don't understand how their phones are constantly dead, but yeah,
18:59I have no idea how he did it.
19:00You want to hear my old man take my old man?
19:03They're more though.
19:04The darn youth are more on their phones than anyone else.
19:07So they're constantly draining the battery.
19:09Plus when I was a youth, I would forget everything.
19:12I would just leave my jacket at school.
19:14I would leave school without a jacket on in the middle of winter.
19:17And then I'd lose that jacket.
19:19And so you expect these youth to be able to keep track of a charger.
19:22And then I'm, I'm sure chargers are like currency in a high school.
19:26I'm sure you can't leave a charger in a plug and forget that for more
19:29than 30 minutes without someone swiping it.
19:30And so I think it's an increased use situation and a lack of suitable
19:34chargers.
19:36Do you know those?
19:37Like, have you been to something that was like a,
19:39I've been to a couple of comedy shows that were like a, a,
19:42like a taping or, you know, they were like prepping for a taping.
19:45And so they, they lock your phone in that little bag thing.
19:48Oh yeah.
19:49My brother's high school does that.
19:51Like when they come in the building,
19:52they've got to lock their phones in those little bags.
19:55You should turn off your phone before you put your thing in that station.
19:57Battery.
19:59Yeah.
20:01What I do know is that as an early Christmas gift and as a,
20:06you know, congrats to making the varsity team,
20:08my dad and I split a couple of pairs of Jason Tatum sneakers for him.
20:12So I know he looked good out there wearing probably like the,
20:16the bright green Tatum twos.
20:18So shout out to Caleb.
20:20Hope the game went well.
20:21Is he coming off the bench or is he expecting to get some run in this game?
20:24I think he's expecting to get some run.
20:25He's a, he was,
20:27he was not stoked about being assigned to play power forward.
20:32Um, there's no positions anymore.
20:35That's what I tried telling him.
20:36I was like, I was like, cause you know, he's a, he's a,
20:38he's an outside scorer for sure.
20:40And he was bummed.
20:41And I was like, listen,
20:42your coach probably just wants to space out like the Celtics.
20:45I was like, I was like, you want a four that can shoot threes,
20:49put in a smaller four.
20:51And if you want more playing time, you got to get those rebounds.
20:53You got to play defense.
20:55You got to be big Caleb.
20:56Come on.
20:58So that's what I told him.
21:00All right.
21:01Sounds good.
21:05That's right, folks.
21:06It's time for everyone's favorite segment.
21:08And by everyone, I mean, at least me and Sean, Sean and I,
21:11I don't know.
21:12I'm not a professional.
21:13Um,
21:15that one point Peyton Pritchard,
21:17when he first checked into the game,
21:18scowl and, uh,
21:19drew said he was just demanding that the ref give him the
21:22basketball.
21:23So he could like take some practice dribbles with it.
21:26And the ref refused.
21:28And I just like the idea of both of that.
21:30I was just like paper.
21:32I need the rock.
21:33Give me the rock.
21:34And then the ref just be like, no,
21:36like we're trying to play a basketball game here.
21:38This is just like, not what,
21:40cause like you see the starters do it.
21:41Like they check out the ball before the game and like,
21:43like approve it.
21:45Well, you can't do that apparently coming off the bench,
21:46but I liked that.
21:47And Pritchard demanded it.
21:49Yeah.
21:50It's good.
21:51It's good from him.
21:55Peterson drew Peterson played in the game.
21:58T E R S O N.
22:04I got to get the original video of that and clip it to throw
22:07it in as a sound effect for you.
22:09I'm going to make a note to do that.
22:11We do need a Peterson button.
22:13I love, I love basketball,
22:14lose park two parks by my house.
22:17They got swings.
22:18I swing real high Peterson.
22:20No real substance after that.
22:22I continue to like his kind of game off the bench.
22:24Nice to see him again after it's,
22:26it's a little insulting that they don't get it.
22:28They don't like you don't get to play against the real teams,
22:31but you get to play as much as you want against the Detroit
22:33Pistons.
22:34Yeah.
22:35But I guess that's like what it's for.
22:37And so congrats to Peter.
22:41At what point in this game,
22:42I saw this were going on their run in the second quarter,
22:44a lot of defense, a lot of made threes.
22:46And Derek white through the most nonsense alley-oop should
22:50Jordan Walsh.
22:51I have seen in a while.
22:53And I don't know why this team is so bad at throwing alley-oops,
22:57but that one was like Derek white's normally not the guy
23:01who's throwing the awful alley-oop pass.
23:04But this was like a hook shot over his head with like a
23:07defender right there.
23:09There, there was no way that alley-oop was ever going to
23:10connect.
23:12There wasn't.
23:13I also just loved that scowl.
23:15Immediately.
23:16His first thought was that it was,
23:18it was to Al Horford and that Al was just like,
23:20I'm not doing that.
23:23It wasn't he.
23:25Al was close to the situation.
23:27He did not jump.
23:28He did not show interest whatsoever.
23:33All right.
23:34I'm watching on league pass.
23:35I'm here in Philadelphia and I'm constantly I'm getting berated
23:38with ads for a gas station slash convenience store called
23:43TA.
23:45I've never heard of this.
23:47I don't know what this is.
23:49Give me some regional advertising league pass.
23:52And I feel like maybe I've seen it before,
23:54but it's just,
23:56I don't know.
23:57It gets me out of my comfort zone and I,
23:59I don't like it,
24:00but there's really nothing I can do about it.
24:01That didn't really feel like a good observation.
24:03So I'm going to press the button.
24:07Jalen Brown has announced his,
24:09his clothing line,
24:11the seven,
24:12four,
24:13one.
24:15I think that's just the name of it.
24:17Yeah.
24:18It's seven,
24:19four,
24:20one.
24:21And it's like,
24:22he announced like the,
24:23the,
24:24the,
24:25the merchandise line around the sneakers that were,
24:28that were previously announced.
24:29But he also wore some of the most ridiculous sunglasses I've ever seen to the
24:33game.
24:34They go,
24:35they attached your head coming over the top of the head and just are
24:39obscene.
24:40He pulled it off.
24:41But if you're,
24:43I didn't see those for sale on the website,
24:45but if you're buying the seven,
24:47four,
24:48one spectacles,
24:50you either have the,
24:52I want to shake your hand because you have the confidence of a person that I
24:56can't really even fathom.
24:57Or you are a buffoon and I want to shake your hand as well.
25:00But either way,
25:01people should go buy just those sunglasses and none of the other merch,
25:05because he's charging a hundred dollars for a quarter zip that apparently
25:09it's just all outrageously expensive.
25:11And I don't get why anyone would spend money on it,
25:15but that's just me.
25:16I don't know.
25:17I don't have a lot of money to spend on merch.
25:19Yeah.
25:20I,
25:21I,
25:22my girlfriend,
25:23Caroline,
25:24we were watching the game together.
25:25And we're,
25:26we're seeing Jalen Brown come through the tunnel during the pregame show.
25:30And she was like,
25:32Jalen Brown's wearing a lot of black clothing and it's all,
25:36she's like,
25:37it's,
25:38it's,
25:39it's kind of weird.
25:40She was like,
25:41she said he looked like he was,
25:42he was,
25:43he was going to go egg someone's house.
25:45A lot of burglar chic kind of thing.
25:48All of it at once with the goggles on.
25:51Yeah.
25:52You look like it's,
25:53it's kind of giving a bit of like the,
25:55the,
25:56the not so super villain that gets like beat up in the first scene of
25:59like someone's origin film.
26:01That was,
26:02that was the energy of the outfit.
26:04I do.
26:05I do got to say,
26:06yeah.
26:07When,
26:08when drew Carter on the,
26:09on the call was like,
26:10I got the quarter zip and it was,
26:11you know,
26:12it was pretty reasonably priced.
26:13I was like,
26:14all right,
26:15let's,
26:16let's see how much this thing is.
26:17I was like,
26:18I don't know if a hundred dollars for,
26:19I mean,
26:20I'm not making NBC sports Boston announcer money,
26:22but that,
26:23that,
26:24that sounded like a lot to me.
26:26I do think it's cool that the sneakers cost $200 in adult sizes,
26:33but the kid sizes are only 70 bucks.
26:36And I think that's cool.
26:37I think that's,
26:38that's like a,
26:39that's a nice trade off.
26:40That is nice.
26:41But the thing that my,
26:43my biggest issue with it,
26:44if you look at all the merch,
26:46it's all just all black clothing where they slapped the logo on
26:51somewhere.
26:53It better be made out of some of the finest materials in all the
26:56land,
26:57because that's in terms of creative design,
26:59it is lacking.
27:00And like Abby had to do the thing before the game was just like,
27:03I talked to Jalen about it.
27:04And he's like,
27:05yeah,
27:06I'm bringing the artists directly to the consumers.
27:07Like you haven't,
27:09I don't want to disparage the man.
27:11I love JB downtown.
27:12Janet Brown's fantastic.
27:13But sir,
27:14you have not done a lot in terms of creative design in your
27:17merchandise.
27:18And I will not be spending $150 for you.
27:24I was going to say,
27:25I want the juice hoodies back.
27:26I wanted one of those.
27:27I like literally,
27:28it was like I had,
27:29I had,
27:30my mom was like,
27:31what do you want for Christmas?
27:32And I was like,
27:33only thing I can think of is a juice hoodie.
27:34And she was like,
27:35you got it.
27:36She added it to cart.
27:37I forgot about it.
27:38Went back two days later and the juice store was just down.
27:41And now all he sells on there is those crazy leather jackets.
27:44And I just,
27:45I just want a juice hoodie.
27:47It's wild that he already had a clothing brand and then decided to
27:51just make another clothing brand with a lot less creative designs,
27:55but seven,
27:56four,
27:57one,
27:58we're,
27:59we're supporting it.
28:03All right.
28:04I'm watching on league pass every halftime.
28:05There's a,
28:06they do like the 10 best highlights from the night's previous
28:09action,
28:10but it's like a very guy,
28:12like a very serious announcer voice.
28:14And he's got to live a very interesting life.
28:16Like this is strictly for league pass.
28:18Imagine just like every morning,
28:20you got to go in and do a really cool voice about Trey young,
28:23throw in an alley.
28:24You for number seven to Deandre Hunter.
28:26And it's just,
28:27I don't know.
28:28It took me back to my old radio producing days where it was just like,
28:31yeah.
28:32And cause it's the timing has to be perfect because it has to directly
28:35align with the amount of highlights you're playing.
28:37And so that's kind of,
28:38it's kind of like a,
28:39it's kind of like a,
28:40Weird,
28:41weird job you have there,
28:42but you bring us,
28:43I wouldn't say that much joy.
28:44Usually it's kind of a annoying during halftime,
28:46but it's cool that you do it.
28:47I would say.
28:49Uh,
28:50Chris,
28:51to ask Porzingis favorite type of music is Spanish trap.
28:53Yeah.
28:54I love Spanish trap.
28:55I love it.
28:56I love it.
28:57I love it.
28:58I love it.
28:59I love it.
29:00I love it.
29:01I love it.
29:02I love it.
29:03I love it.
29:04I love it.
29:05I love it.
29:06I love it.
29:07I love it.
29:08I love it.
29:09I love it.
29:10I love it.
29:11I love it.
29:12I love it.
29:13I love it.
29:14I love it.
29:15I love it.
29:16I love it.
29:18you.
29:19I was,
29:20I was wondering about that because when they said it,
29:23I was,
29:24I was like,
29:25I can't tell if this is just like a,
29:26a druid scale joke.
29:27That's going over my head.
29:29I feel like I don't get to you.
29:31Okay.
29:32I must say I don't get to,
29:33you,
29:34I don't watch the broadcast that often because I'm at the games a
29:36lot to,
29:37to put off before doing these shows.
29:38And then I,
29:39I actually,
29:40I listened to the radio call when I'm,
29:42when I'm not at the garden.
29:43And so I was just,
29:44that literally I was like,
29:45is this a,
29:46a joke about scale or something.
29:47And then they were like, yeah, he lived a long time in Spain when he was younger.
29:51And I was like, that's a real thing, huh?
29:53That explains the Spanish part, but not the trap part.
29:57And I don't know where that came in, but I guess I'm here for it.
30:04All right.
30:05Three minutes left to go in the third quarter.
30:08Sound just ceases to exist for me on League Pass.
30:11I tried all five different streams.
30:14They was on NBA TV tonight.
30:16I tried the in arena, the broadcast.
30:18I even went over to Piston Stream.
30:20No sound.
30:21And it created a very Zen
30:24kind of meditative state of just watching the game.
30:28It's so weird to watch a basketball game with no sound because they're like
30:32then they're zooming in on Luke Cornett, like on the bench.
30:35And like maybe they're telling a fun story about him.
30:37I'll have no idea.
30:39And you kind of guess you need like you really need to focus on the ball.
30:44And so it was it was interesting.
30:46I got to say with no sound as soon as it was like six minutes
30:51of just like absolute garbage time towards the end.
30:54My attention did wane just a little.
30:57I'll hand up. I'm going to be honest.
30:59The sound really does like draw you in and have watching a full
31:04quarter basketball with no sound.
31:06It's spooky.
31:07I would I would suggest you guys maybe try it for a six minute stretch here
31:10or there just to take some deep breaths, really focus on like
31:13what's important in life and lock in on the ball.
31:16Maybe don't even watch the ball.
31:17Watch the off ball movement.
31:19Watch. You know, think about the game bigger than the game.
31:22Don't let the sound distract you.
31:24But I wouldn't say do it for a full game because you might go crazy.
31:32That's all I got, Sean.
31:33You got any junk for us before we wrap up tonight's episode?
31:41That's going to be a big no from producer Sean Gautier.
31:49That's quite all right.

32:25Sunday night after the Celtics play the Wizards again.
32:28What the hell?
32:28They play the Wizards again, and then they got two games against the Bulls.
32:32This is this is me being selfish in myself, this fandom.
32:35But I was having a lot more fun when they were playing the Bucks
32:38and the Grizzlies and like that.
32:40Yes, it's fun to see him win.
32:42We get a nice little cornet moment, but like I want to see some better competition.
32:48They're playing on Christmas against the Bunk Sixers team.
32:50We're not going to get a good game for the Celtics until 2025.
32:55So, you know, get your rest and folks
32:59enjoy these wins against the maybe they'll have a disappointing loss
33:03against the Bulls. Who knows?
33:04Certainly that's not happening against the Wizards.
33:06But if it does or if they blow out the Wizards,
33:10we'll be here Sunday night, folks, to join you guys
33:13for another episode of Still Potable.
33:15Appreciate everyone who tuned in.
33:17Be back next week.
