00:00Edinburgh woman Elaine Robertson has been covering her home and Christmas decorations for the past 45 years now.
00:10The HR and Admin Officer for GL Flooring started her yearly tradition when she moved into her house at the Wisp in 1979.
00:21Starting with a big Christmas tree in her garden in 1979, she started putting lights around it and it's grown from there.
00:30Every year she's added new decorations and lights to the Christmas spectacle in her garden.
00:37But she admits her garden is now full, so she only gets new Christmas decorations and lights when the older ones are finished and need replaced.
00:51Admitting it's her favourite time of the year, Elaine also likes to have lots of Christmas decorations inside her house as well as outside for neighbours to enjoy.
01:03Elaine says she has always loved Christmas, thanks mainly to her mum and dad being big fans of the season.
01:12Elaine says her neighbours love her Christmas decorations and she's never had any negative feedback since she started this annual tradition.
