00:31According to OCD-7 Regional Director Jowel Herestain,

00:34the residents within a 6-meter radius from the mouth of Mount Canlaon should be evacuated immediately.

00:41Herestain also said that they requested additional assistance from the 302nd Brigade of the Philippine Army

00:47in Negros Oriental to assist in the evacuation of the affected residents.

00:53Two Philippine Coast Guard ships were dispatched to provide logistical assistance to the affected residents

00:59according to PCG Commandant Rony Gaban.

01:02Meanwhile, Canlaon City Mayor Jose Chabasco Cardenas called the families of the affected residents

01:08around Mount Canlaon who were evacuated due to the alert level 3

01:12raised in these areas by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology of PHBOCS.

01:18He also asked his relatives to wear face masks or cover their mouths to protect themselves

01:42caused a thick cloud with a height of 3 kilometers.
