Among the things that appear in this episode of Noel's House Party from 1994, there is a Three Musketeers opening spoof, Noel Edmonds reads the news articles from The Crinkley Bottom Observer newspaper, Alan Titchmarsh and Ross King face the vote to see who will be gunged by the public, contestant sisters Kim Gregory and Sue Blair play the Panel Game, another member of the audience, Mark Sutcliffe, faces The Big Pork Pie game, while Noel plays a double gotcha - not just on celebrity target Sue Barker, but on his technical helper Michael Leggo as well! The there is NTV, which surprises ordinary people with cameras in their home - in this case Steve Morse from Swindon - while Noel opens a health farm where Bob Monkhouse turns up to take part, and cricketer Graham Gooch turns up to play the game "Grab a Grand" for a lucky phone contestant.

This is a recording from a recent repeat on BBC4 that I did and a reminder of just how good Noel's House Party was in the 1990's. Even now it beats anything on Saturday into a cocked hat for sheer entertainment and features among the many guest stars Bob Monkhouse, Tony Blackburn, Frank Carson, Sandra Dickinson, Felix Bowness, Anne Charleston, Pat Coombs, Stuart Bevan, Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean, Frank Thornton, Carole Garcia and Neil Morrissey, plus an early screen appearance by Rebecca Front in the Gotcha set up for Sue Barker. This episode comes from Series 3, Episode 19 and was originally broadcast on March 5th 1994.
