00:00The Bureau of Immigration believes that the former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque is out of the country illegally.

00:09This is the update of Louisa Erispe of PTV in Balitang Pambansa.

00:17After Harry Roque submitted a counter affidavit to the Department of Justice

00:21in a complaint of qualified human trafficking against him,

00:25the DOJ believed that Roque had written a document, notarized it, and filed it in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

00:34The question is, has the former Presidential Spokesperson been out of the country

00:39with an immigration look-out bulletin since September?

00:43But Harry Roque spoke and confirmed that in Abu Dhabi, he had filed his counter affidavit.

00:51This counter affidavit was filed in front of the Philippine Embassy, Philippine Consulate in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

00:59If they want to verify that I submitted it, they can call the consul that notarized it,

01:03and they can also call Ambassador Ver, who was personally present when I submitted it.

01:08Roque did not deny how or when he was out of the country.

01:13But he said that until now, he is still not in the Philippines, but he has already left Abu Dhabi.

01:20I'm no longer in Abu Dhabi. I went to Abu Dhabi to subscribe to that, but I'm no longer in Abu Dhabi.

01:25But the Bureau of Immigration believes that Roque may have left the country illegally.

01:32In the statement issued by the BI, there is no record of Roque's departure from the country.

01:38It is also impossible for him to leave the country because there are videos of him traveling.

01:46The BI is now studying Roque's case of falsification of public documents.

01:52If he used a fake document to receive permission to enter Abu Dhabi or other countries.

01:58Meanwhile, the Department of Justice believes that the point of entry and exit to the country should also be observed.

02:06It's high time that we verify the system of our airports or private hangars and all that.
