00:00Mano Salomon, that's his first couple of goals for Leeds United.
00:05And then we said at the start of the season that he did look a real player,
00:08obviously given his loan move.
00:11You don't want to ever get too attached to a loan player,
00:14but he clearly does have some talent about him as well.
00:18So, yeah, obviously to get his first two goals, that's really important for him.
00:22He's had his injury problems this season.
00:24Now he's back in the sides and in amongst the goals.
00:28Just a good afternoon for him and hopefully he can kick on from here.
00:32Yeah, 100%.
00:34And you shouldn't sort of underestimate how much that might do for him
00:37because you go back through his record,
00:39and obviously he had his knee injury, he was out for a long time with that.
00:42But the big thing we think about is it's his first goals for Leeds,
00:46obviously, which is great, and not just one but two.
00:49But league-wise, that was his first goal as well since I think it was March 2023,
00:53so that's quite a long way back.
00:55You're talking over 18 months there for Fulham.
00:57When he scored in that game, I think it was against Brentford,
01:00that made it five games scoring in a row.
01:03So the idea now is you hope that now happens here,
01:06that he's one of these players that goes on runs,
01:08and there's no reason why not.
01:10Yeah, great to see, obviously, him getting those two goals.
01:13Obviously, the first one was an easy finish,
01:15but he certainly took the second one away nicely enough
01:18and just looked a pretty decent threat.
01:20And it was great to see because you're totally right,
01:22when Leeds signed Manasolam, there were two main facets to this.
01:25Number one, I think there was worries about his injury CV.
01:28I don't think there's any doubt about that
01:30because obviously he has got injuries on his CV,
01:32and you're worried about how long can he stay fit
01:34and basically keep a clean bill of health at Leeds,
01:36and that's essential, isn't it?
01:38The second thing, though, was that I don't think there was any doubt
01:40about that people thought that if this guy stays fit,
01:43then I think some people, probably including myself,
01:45thought this might end up being one of the best players,
01:47if not the best player in the Championship.
01:49I think we said that on one of these shows in the summer and stuff,
01:52and, you know, why not?
01:54There's still a chance of that,
01:55but you've got to say he came in and started really, really well.
01:58I remember his first game at Ellen Road,
01:59and he made an instant impression.
02:01Everybody was sort of thinking,
02:02wow, I've really got somebody here.
02:03And then he kind of went off the boil a little bit, didn't he?
02:05And stuff, you know, and it was kind of like from thinking,
02:08well, he's got to be one of the first names on the team sheet.
02:10Then it was like, even with Ramazani injured,
02:12will he even be in the side, you know?
02:14And you've got to say it was probably a little bit of a sort of,
02:17maybe a bit of a surprise that he started, you know?
02:19I mean, the Swansea game,
02:20obviously with Nonto dropping to the bench,
02:22and obviously Dan James on the other flank.
02:23But he certainly, you know,
02:24produced the goods on being handed that chance,
02:27you know, getting a brace and stuff,
02:28and a decent all-round display.
02:29And, you know, he said himself afterwards,
02:31I think his words were, this is just a start for me, you know?
02:33So it sort of alludes to what we're saying
02:35and what we're hoping that he hopes now he can kick on
02:38and go on a real run of both assists and goals.
02:40And to be quite honest, I think he probably will, you know?
02:43I think the only two question marks really are with him is like,
02:46as I say, number one, can he stay fit?
02:48But I mean, that's, you know,
02:49the lack of the gloves on his body and stuff, and hopefully he will.
02:51The second thing, obviously, is how much will he actually start?
02:53Because you're going to have quite a battle on, obviously,
02:55in terms of basically four players, two spots.
