Leeds must build on Swansea win against Luton

00:00a mid-week game at home under the lights at Elland Road against Luton Town. Luton have been

00:07an interesting side this year because of course the Premier League side last year

00:12had some great moments in the Premier League as well last year and they've come back down this

00:16year and they've really really struggled I've thought. They've had a lot of poor results,

00:19they've had the odd decent one but for the most part they've been really poor. So you'd think

00:27and I know we're getting into the realm of certainties here but it should be a foregone

00:34conclusion whether it you know this is Leeds United with Tokmoti and they have just conceded

00:39three goals to a Swansea side who don't score or don't concede so anything could happen but

00:46they should have too much of them the way Luton are playing at least. They should do yeah and

00:51they need to really and that's this is the idea isn't it and it's you know it's no good like

00:54going to Swansea and getting a win like that you know a fantastic victory albeit.

00:59Yeah not backing it up a hundred percent yeah I mean this is the game of the three games during

01:03the during that you know the first week back first very busy week back Swansea away Luton at home

01:08and Blackburn away that's the one you would have looked at and really earmarked and thought you

01:11know that's the one then you know the banker if you like to get three points in but there's no

01:14such thing as bankers in the championship as we know and my only worry with this one a little bit

01:18is that I still think Luton will turn the corner at some stage and they obviously did win at the

01:22weekend as well it was a 1-0 win against Hull that was on the back of a 5-1 thumping at Vurrah

01:26and they they've got you know the end of the day with them they've got good players and they've

01:30also got a very very good young manager in Rob Edwards who have got you know like an awful lot

01:33of respect and time for and so I'm just wary that at some stage with them I think it'll probably

01:38click and you know as we sit here what the 16th in the table I mean that's crazy really I mean

01:42like in the summer we I remember we did a show and we were talking about our promotion fancies

01:45in the summer and yeah I think I said I think I fancied Luton not for the league to win it

01:49necessarily but I sort of thought they might be in the mix you know and I mean that there still

01:53might be in terms of like if they have a surge for the playoffs or something but I mean they're

01:57gonna have to get their act together quickly aren't they but I wouldn't be surprised if they

02:00turned the corner quickly at some stage and you know you sort of just hope that victory at the

02:04weekend isn't the sort of platform for them to then sort of build on that against Leeds and the

02:09other thing with them though is not got a very good away record at all I think the fifth bottom

02:13in the division away from home so you know it's not like they're coming to Ellen Road with a

02:16really really good away record got good players Carlton Morris is a player you could see being a

02:22big threat up front but I mean realistically you know Leeds should be bouncing obviously after that

02:264-3 victory at Swansea confidence should be very very high they've got an extra day's turnaround

02:31obviously a lot of teams whilst in a sense I suppose there's not many teams playing well

02:34none of them playing Sunday or Tuesday but I mean obviously it's Wednesday night isn't it and stuff

02:37so it's you know reasonable amount of time to recover ish but you know considering how busy the

02:41schedule is and the only other thing with it is I think there'll be a lot there could be a lot of

02:45pressure on the game because the other facet of it is is that every obviously you've got kind of

02:49I mean I've got enormous respect for Borough and I could well see them ending up being one of the

02:53main threats but at the minute anyway in terms of like the not breakaway but the big top four

02:57as such all four of them play on Tuesday.
