00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. appraised the local officials in Catanduanes for their hasty response
00:06to ensure the safety of their people from the impact of the typhoon.
00:11The President also promised to continue his assistance to those in the midst of calamity.

00:21President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. appraised the local government officials of the province of Catanduanes
00:26for their hasty response to the impact of the typhoon Pepito.
00:32According to the President, the local officials were able to quickly respond to the local authorities
00:38in order to achieve the zero-casualty target of the latest typhoon that hit the country.
00:43But on the other hand, President Marcos said,
00:46there are some immediate concerns that should be addressed following the left-behind typhoon
00:51such as the damaged roads.
00:53When there is no communication, clean drinking water, and quick compensation to the damaged houses,
00:59the President assured that the government will take action on the aforementioned needs,
01:05especially for the damaged houses.
01:07We will prepare the construction materials.
01:10We also provide cash assistance to the households
01:15whose houses are partially damaged and the houses are totally damaged.
01:21So that they can afford to buy equipment.
01:23Meanwhile, the Punong Ekotibo also assured that help will be provided to the victims of the calamity.
01:30The Chief Executive also stated that there is no deadline set by the government
01:34if the help will be provided to the victims of the typhoon.

01:43President Marcos said that even if the victims of the typhoon continue to have children,
