00:34We have medalists in International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad,

00:40won in Brazil by students of Philippine Science High School,

00:45International Nuclear Science Olympiad,

00:47we have Ginto,

00:4956th International Chemistry Olympiad held in Riyadh,

00:53we have bronze medal,

00:55ASEAN Plus 3 Junior Science Odyssey in Cambodia,

00:59we have gold, silver, and bronze medal,

01:02and Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge,

01:05where we won two Ginto medals.

01:09According to the President, STEM subjects are important because they are the basis of new technologies.

01:15That is, more and more new technologies are being used in people's lives.

01:20In order to use those new technologies, we need to be used to it,

01:26we need to be able to understand scientific studies and mathematics,

01:30so that we can benefit from the new economy of the world.
