00:00Water supply issue for Zamboanga farmers has been resolved with solar-powered water system pumps

00:22Farmers in Zamboanga City are extremely grateful for the assistance of solar-powered water pumps
00:27provided to various associations.
00:29Farmers no longer worry about running out of water supply especially during drought seasons.
00:49Nearly 40 solar-powered water system projects have been provided and are currently underway
00:55by the National Irrigation Administration in the region.
00:58Several of these systems are in Zamboanga City with each water pump able to supply
01:03water to multiple hectares of farmland.
01:05According to the farmers, they are saving significantly due to the water supply
01:10and in addition financial assistance from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
01:14earlier this year has provided substantial support.
01:16Water supply is no longer an issue for farmers thanks to the solar-powered water pumps provided by the government.
