00:00The government is already taking steps to make sure the effects of Pepito to areas within its path, as much as possible, are minimized.

00:36The storm is predicted to intensify, bringing torrential rainfall and storm surge that could reach over 3 meters, almost the height of a two-story house.

00:48Regions close to the coast, particularly in Bicol, Quezon and Eastern Visayas, are expected to be the most impacted.

01:19President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has ordered the rapid evacuation before disaster strikes.

01:25Tonight, the DILG will implement a mandatory evacuation in areas forecast to be affected by the storm surge.

01:33200,000 residents will be under pre-emptive evacuation. This will be followed by the deployment of police forces.

01:41People who live here are always afraid of being robbed. The DILG will help them so that they won't be robbed.
