00:00The typhoon Petito has weakened and is now just a typhoon.

00:03Its center was last seen in the 145-kilometer-wide area of Sinait, Ilocos Sur.

00:10Signal No. 1 to 3 is still high in several places in Luzon.

00:23Good morning to all of our viewers here on PTV4.

00:26The center of Petito was last seen in the 145-kilometer-wide area of Sinait, Ilocos Sur.

00:32The typhoon continues to weaken.

00:34It is still a typhoon.

00:35There is a strong wind near the center.

00:38It reaches 130 kilometers per hour.

00:40And it reaches 160 kilometers per hour.

00:44At present, it is moving away from our country, northwestward, at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour.

00:49At 5 a.m. today, we still have signal No. 3 in the northern and western portions of Ilocos Sur,

00:54northwestern portion of La Union, and western portion of Abra.

00:58Signal No. 2 in Ilocos Norte, rest of Ilocos Sur, rest of La Union, Pangasinan, rest of Abra,

01:03western portion of Mountain Province, Benguet, and northern portion of Zambales.

01:08Signal No. 1 in Apayao, Calinga, rest of Mountain Province, Ifugao, western portion of Cagayan, Nueva Vizcaya,

01:15northern and central portions of Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, and this central portion of Zambales.

01:20In these areas, we are still prepared for the strong winds brought by the typhoon Pepito.

01:26We hope that it will continue to move away from our country.

01:30In terms of rainfall, the strong rains brought by the typhoon.

01:34Of course, these strong rains in some parts of northern and central Luzon,

01:38we hope that these rains will gradually weaken for the remainder of the day.

01:42At present, we are still prepared for floods and landslides,

01:46especially if they continue to rain that we will experience.

01:49Here in Metro Manila and in a large part of Luzon,

01:53this bad weather will continue, along with heavy rains, landslides, and landslides.

01:59For Visayas and most of Mindanao, this generally fair weather conditions will continue,

02:04except for the chances of isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms.
