00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. initiated the opening of Phase 1 of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project

00:07which is expected to facilitate and speed up the passage of passengers, especially now that the holiday season is approaching.

00:20The first part of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project was opened today.

00:26President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. initiated the inauguration.

00:30From Dr. Santo Station in Paranaque, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. rode to Redemptories Asiana Station in Pasay.

00:38I encourage all of our commuters to try it.

00:43You will see that it is very difficult compared to the traffic that we experience every day.

00:50From today, LRT-1 will be able to travel to 5 additional stations from Baclaran to Paranaque.

00:57That's why the previous one-hour commuting time will be shortened to 15 to 30 minutes.

01:03Of the 320,000 passengers on the LRT-1, it is expected to add 80,000 new passengers.

01:12The equivalent of this is 6,000 cars. 6,000 to 8,000 cars a day.
