00:00The commanders and the Steelers in Landover on Sunday afternoon, a matchup between two teams
00:09sitting in first entering the day in their respective divisions. Pittsburgh six and two
00:14atop the AFC North, Washington seven and two atop the NFC East. And what a game it was back and
00:22forth throughout the commanders opened up a double digit lead early in the second for Russell Wilson
00:27and the Steelers to rally back. Three starts now for Russ in a Pittsburgh uniform, three victories
00:34for the Steelers. 28-27 outright as a point and a half underdog on the road yesterday in Landover.
00:42Total of 45 and a half stood no chance. It goes well over three games this year DRS
00:48for Pittsburgh booked as the underdog. They have won outright in all three.
00:53Defense was really good by the way for the Steelers in the second half because you saw
00:56that the Washington commander scored 10 points Ben, but look at those second halves. Three plays
01:01eight yards, three plays zero yards and a punt for the defense, seven plays 19 yards and a field
01:05goal for the defense, four plays 12 yards for the defense, three plays two yards and then got them
01:11down to that close play with Zach Ertz on that fourth down call which was the right call in the
01:14field. So once again we're talking about a defense like the Detroit Lions on the road needing some
01:18big stops. The Pittsburgh Steelers defense got those stops. They were opportunistic on offense
01:22and as I said you know the the fight in the heart of a team that the Steelers have now
01:26you have that long drive 14 plays 86 yards you fumble inside the five-yard line that should be
01:31game set match but your defense holds them right away gets the football back and punches it in
01:35then comes up with another stop here. Impressive win for the Pittsburgh Steelers but also the
01:39commanders like they have arrived and they're here. Yes they lost that football game yesterday
01:44but we didn't expect the turnaround to be this fast from Washington. I liked what they did in
01:48the offseason. They signed a lot of quality football players. They went out made a major
01:52change at offensive coordinator brought in a head coach that will provide stability and try to shore
01:56up that defense and then you draft a quarterback number two overall that looks like he's been
02:00playing in the year but playing in the NFL five years already. So even though they lost yesterday
02:04still showed a lot of heart and a lot of fight and a chance to regain that momentum against the
02:08Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night but yesterday that was about the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's just
02:13a winning organization. It's what they do when they need big plays they get them and I love it
02:17like Russell Wilson was he tremendous yesterday but no he wasn't with three touchdown passes and
02:22you just see all of the wide receivers engage. How many plays yesterday he only completed 50%
02:26of his passes but he was giving his wide receivers an opportunity downfield by throwing that balloon
02:31ball that says you know what has a wide out 101. I love that play continue to do it it opens up the
02:36offense. Great win for the Pittsburgh Steelers but once again the commanders no shame in that loss.
02:40That's a good football team.
