00:00Of course, 28-27 was the final, Steelers down for most of the day.
00:09That was until, Scotty, Russell Wilson finding Mike Williams, who of course just joined after
00:15a trade from the Jets, CBS with the Birdman.
00:18Third and long, Wilson floats it way upstairs, Williams, he's got it, touchdown!
00:25The Birdman, I mean, just what a sick play, third and long, this guy, you know, soars
00:33it to the moon, into the basket, this guy over-the-shoulder catch, I mean, honestly,
00:39it was like a Plaxico Burruss, I mean, it really was, it was a great catch, and obviously
00:46the Steelers win the trade deadline.
00:48I think Lattimore's a great pick to snag for the Commanders, but he's out with a hamstring
00:54and they needed him.
00:56On Sunday, I said on Friday, he's not playing, and we talked to Chau about it, he's not playing,
01:02that means advantage Steelers.
01:04How are they going to guard Pickens and Williams and Friermuth and Washington, and they didn't.
01:09Bottom line, every guy caught passes in that game, every single guy, even Warren, Nagy,
01:16I mean, it was insane.
01:17They got so many weapons now, they really do, and that deal at the deadline for Williams
01:22is the winner.
01:24That wins the trade deadline right there.
01:26Guy goes out and catches a bomb in the corner of the end zone to win the game on the road
01:32against a team that was, you know, 7-2, that's the winner right there.
01:37What a deal that Omar Khan pulled off.
01:39I thought Warren had a huge game, by the way, I know Warren has been hurt a lot this year
01:44for the Steelers, he hasn't done much, I thought that was Warren's best game of the year by
01:48far.
01:49I mean, he had some big rushes, caught some big balls, that's a good thing for the Steelers
01:53going forward.
01:54Here is, of course, Mike Tomlin on a victory Monday.
01:59He actually gets started here by being asked if he would have went for that fourth down
02:04if Washington didn't jump off sides, and then gets into how great the Mike Williams catch
02:10was.
02:11Quite an aggressive mindset, Mike, I assume you weren't going to go for it there on fourth
02:15down?
02:16We'll never know, will we?
02:19You know I'm a degenerate.
02:20How many times have you seen that Russell Wilson throw like that over the years, just
02:25throw it up there and connect?
02:26I've seen it a few times on highlight shows, it's a little better in person, believe it.
02:30How much regret did Mike Williams have of the entire offense, what was he, did you think
02:35he would be able to give you today?
02:36He's a veteran guy, he's a quick study.
02:40We didn't throw everything at him, but we threw enough, particularly the one-dimensional
02:43ball, you know, the passing circumstances, we didn't want him over there standing with
02:47us at the weightiest of moments.
02:49At the weightiest of moments.
02:53Now listen, this guy Pickens, too, I gotta tell you, you can say whatever you want about
02:59him, he makes plays the whole game, he caught the touchdown early, then he caught all kinds
03:04of passes.
03:05How about the one when he did the slant and broke free and ran for like another 20 yards
03:09and was breaking ankles all over the football field?
03:12How about when Wilson threw the pick and it was a pass to him and then he came back
03:19on the play and just absolutely rag-dolled some cornerback, picked him up and body-slammed
03:26him.
03:27I know he didn't catch the runner with the ball, but the other guy that was trying to
03:30block him, he took care of him in a hurry.
03:32I just think he is an absolute badass stud.
03:38He is.
03:39That was a great catch that he had for the first time for the Steelers early in the game,
03:43too, in the corner.
03:44Tremendous job by him.
03:46So the Steelers now 7-2 and they lead the AFC North heading into, of course, this week's
03:52matchup with the Ravens, which as we said, is Ravens minus 3.5 here on a Monday with
03:59the 47.5 total.
04:02We know Tomlin, a dog at home, please.
