00:00The typhoon Marse has severely damaged the areas in the Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos Norte.

00:06The Cordillera RDRRMC has again reminded us to carry out a pre-emptive evacuation if necessary.

01:50the main affected areas by the Marse typhoon are Apayaw, Abra and several towns in Mountain Province and Calinga.

01:58More than 1,000 families, made up of more than 3,000 individuals,

02:03were affected by the typhoon from 65 barangays in the region.

02:08More than 700 families are in the 63 evacuation centers that are now being assisted by the government.

02:17Two houses were also damaged due to the typhoon.

02:21Three road sections in Apayaw, Ilocos, Norte Road were not passed due to landslides.

02:28If we look at it, the number of landslides due to the Marse typhoon is low.

02:32But what we are also looking at is the flow of our water,

02:37particularly here in Apayaw, Abulog River and here in our Abra River.

02:42The agency also reminded us to conduct a pre-emptive evacuation if necessary.

02:59In Ilocos, Norte, the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office in Batac City is currently carrying out clearing operations.
