00:00Do you like street foods, but you want a healthy option?
00:04Well, perfect for you vegans!
00:07The Isaw and Fries Recipe that we brought to you here in Sarap Pinoy!
00:17In every corner of the Philippines,
00:19from restaurants to coffee shops,
00:21there is one food that has become a favorite of many.
00:25This is the fries and isaw.
00:27But as time goes by,
00:29many people have switched to a healthy lifestyle.
00:32And because of this, there is a different version that is on the rise.
00:36This is the Veggie Isaw and Mushroom Fries.
00:39So, to teach us how to cook this,
00:42we will be joined by Chef Anthony Joseph Sabilla here in Sarap Pinoy.
00:52Before anything else,
00:53Chef Anthony's first breading is the Mushroom and Veggie Isaw.
00:58The first thing we will cook is the isaw.
01:00We will fry it now.
01:07Our isaw is vegan.
01:10What we use here is straight protein.
01:13We will just fry it.
01:14We will just fry it so that it won't overcook.
01:18We will just wait for it to cook for 2 minutes.
01:22Our isaw is not different from the normal isaw that we buy from the market.
01:30We will just fry it now.
01:37And of course, to make our Veggie Isaw more delicious,
01:40the barbecue sauce, which is its perfect partner, cannot be left out.
01:45We will just swirl the barbecue sauce around the isaw
01:50so that it can absorb the flavor of our sauce.
01:54Next, Chef Anthony placed it on a plate with vinegar sauce on the side.
01:59Next, we will cook our Mushroom Fries that we coated earlier.
02:05If you are healthy living,
02:06Mushroom Fries and Veggie Isaw are perfect appetizers.
02:11We will just swirl it around so that it won't overcook.
02:16To make it crunchy, we will just fry it for about 2 to 3 minutes.
02:21We will just wait for it to turn golden brown before we remove it from the pan.
02:28It is now ready.
02:30We can now remove it from the pan.
02:34And for finishing touch, Chef Anthony just placed the Mushroom Fries on a plate
02:39and of course, its ketchup sauce cannot be left out.
02:43This is now our dish, Veggie Isaw and Mushroom Fries.
