00:33According to the brief, the artwork will need to be at least two metres tall and should
00:36tell the story of the Beatles' time in New Brighton with a personal twist.
00:40A panel will select a shortlist of no more than five applicants, with each receiving
00:44£250 to develop their idea. Those interested in applying have until 30 December 2024 to
00:50do so.
00:51A statue of the band was unveiled on Liverpool's Pier Head in December 2014 and is one of
00:56the city's most popular spots for tourist photos.
