00:00Good morning. Well, it's a bright but chillier star out there, but it will be turning increasingly
00:05cloudy from the north and west later. But for now, many places are seeing plenty of
00:11autumnal sunshine. We have got some blustery showers through this morning across Orkney
00:16and Shetland, but further towards the west as we go into the afternoon, it will be turning
00:21increasingly gloomy with outbreaks of rain across Northern Ireland and north western
00:27Scotland. It could turn quite heavy at times, especially over the hills, but further towards
00:31the south across much of England and Wales, a dry afternoon to come with plenty of sunshine.
00:39In the sunshine, highs of 13, 14, possibly 15 degrees. So a touchdown on what we saw
00:45on Saturday, but feeling chillier further towards the north underneath the persistent
00:50rain and a bit more of a breeze as well. Highs here at 10 or 11 degrees.
00:56So to end the weekend, this band of cloud and rain will continue to push its way south
01:00and eastward, affecting much of Cumbria, then later into Wales and towards the Midlands
01:06as well, perhaps holding on to the clearest skies towards the far southeast of England.
01:12But with a lot of cloud around, that will help keep temperatures up tonight. So actually
01:17not falling too low, 9 or 10 degrees, perhaps a little bit chillier towards the far southeast
01:23underneath the clearest skies. So it is going to leave a murky start to the new working
01:29week. A lot of cloud around, outbreaks of rain and drizzle on and off, perhaps turning
01:34quite persistent at times across parts of Wales and northern England. There may be some
01:38glimmers of sunshine towards the far south and into eastern areas as well. But on the
01:44whole, it is a cloudy picture out there, temperatures around 15 or 16 degrees.
01:52So as we go looking ahead towards Tuesday and Wednesday, higher pressure is going to
01:58be building, but it won't be blue skies. It will be often cloudy with mist and fog quite
02:04stubborn to clear as well. But for more details on all of that, make sure to hit subscribe
02:10on YouTube so you don't miss any updates and I'll catch you soon. Bye bye.
