00:00The CEO of Global Ikwan Services and Business Holdings, Nasruddin Ali and 20 others have
00:12been charged with being members of an organized criminal group since 2020.
00:17Also charged were Nasruddin's wife Azura Yusuf and Adib Atamimi Ashari, the son of the late
00:23Al-Arqam founder, Ashari Muhammad.
00:26No plea was recorded as the case falls under the High Court's jurisdiction.
00:30The 21 are accused of being members of the organized criminal group GISBH in Rawangselangor
00:36from October 2020 to September 11 this year.
00:40The charge was framed under Section 130B Sub 1 of the Penal Code which provides for a jail
00:47sentence of 5 to 20 years upon conviction.
00:50On October 10, police said 16 GISBH officials have been re-arrested under the Security Offenses
00:57Special Measures Act.
