00:00Good news, the weather is looking a lot calmer compared to the weekend for the next 48 hours,
00:05but there will be some hefty showers to contend with as well as mist, fog and low cloud that will
00:10be quite slow to clear. So let's take a look at Tuesday, a foggy start across the southeast and
00:14it may take some time for that to lift and clear. Elsewhere though, a bright start to the day except
00:20across the north and west of England and Wales where it will be cloudy with a line of heavy
00:24showers. Now these showers will be moving southeastwards through the day to the south
00:28and east of Wales, the west country, the Midlands and later central, southern and eastern England.
00:33By the time it reaches eastern England, most of the showers will fizzle away but it will be rather
00:37cloudy there. Elsewhere though, bright or sunny spells, only a few light showers across the
00:41northwest and with light winds it will be feeling mild. It will be another mild day with mostly
00:46light winds on Wednesday as well, however over central and southern parts of the UK there will
00:51be mist, fog and low cloud to begin the day and it will be quite slow to lift and clear,
00:56so eventually it will brighten up in the afternoon. Meanwhile further north,
01:00the northwest of the UK will be windy and cloudy with patchy light rain and drizzle.
