Something smells phony to Ole Tobs! Bradley Beal can't help but keep the Miami HEAT's name in his mouth! We hear from the former Heat target as he details his trade process from Washington to Phoenix. Of course he has to mention the HEAT! Tobin goes off on Bradley Beal for living in the past.

00:00Bradley Beal, this guy again, so he did an interview who didn't do the interview with.
00:08I don't even know. I saw this like on those, uh, those, those, um, you know, clutch access
00:14things. But I think it was with like a draft Kings. Was that who he was doing the interview
00:18with? It was a podcast. I'm fine. He was doing the podcast, but anyway, he was talking and
00:23this Bradley Beal, you know, something about them, you know, like this guy was an a one
00:32run your race, flirt, run your race. Okay. Courtesy of run your race. So he was an a
00:39one flirt all the time. And this Bradley Beal did an interesting shell game with everybody
00:43for a long time with the Washington wizards where he would go out there and he would be
00:49like, Oh, I, uh, you know, I, I really would like to be there, you know, I, I, Oh, he
00:57would like tweets.
00:59Mrs. Beal would tweet about the beach and it was always, he wants to be wanted, but
01:04he never wanted to leave. Cause he wanted to get the uber duber max. Correct. Right.
01:07No trade clause. Nobody has a no trade clause. He had a no trade clause. All right. But then
01:14afterwards the trade finally happens. He goes to the sons and they were stuck. Oh, is he
01:17going to go to the Miami? He, because he didn't get Damian Lillard. I think that they
01:21were, would they have gone more in on Bradley Beal or feel if they knew the Damian Lillard
01:26thing was going to turn into what it turned into?
01:28I don't know. I don't know. Because there was some relationships there. We know also
01:32big D Wade guy, Bradley Beal, of course, uh, you know, remember the time bam on a bio,
01:38like a rascal wore his Jersey during the post game interviews. Nobody does that. This bam,
01:44he knows what he was doing. Right. But, you know, he said things like, Oh, well they didn't
01:52want to pay the tax. You know, I thought it was going to happen. And Pat went to Mickey.
01:56All right. So he's already done this thing about talking about his trade. Yeah. He's
02:01still talking about it. And I'm just like, Hey, it's been a season already. I know you're
02:06probably being asked about it, but I don't like how he's burning bridges as well. Like
02:12he's trying to like kerosene onto a place he's already left and a thing that's already
02:18happened. And then he had this thing to say where he was like, Oh, if I would have played
02:23the games, we would have been the one seat. Calm down, dude. First of all, you playing
02:28a majority of the games. That's been a, that's been a thing of fiction lately. But anyway,
02:33I'm rambling here. Let's just hear from Bradley Beal. Well, what do you, what do you have
02:36here? Frog boy from the run your race. I have a Bradley Beal here. You're going to listen
02:42to this clip. He discusses his departure from Washington, how the Miami deal didn't happen
02:50the way he thought it would, how he ended up in Phoenix. And then this ridiculous, bizarre
02:54story involving Milwaukee that I want you to hear. Okay. It's kind of like, dude, tell
03:01the truth. Be honest, be honest, Brad. Like I was a face of a franchise, but we don't
03:08get that. Right. Not every player gets that opportunity. You know? So DC made that change
03:13in the front office and all I love them to death, but them boys ain't wasting no time.
03:17They say, Hey B we, we, we think it's time. Like let's, let's, let's, let's just turn
03:23this chapter. Let's get you to somewhere where you can win. Allow us to get some pieces back
03:27to rebuild this thing and, you know, do it the right way. And when I heard that, I said,
03:31you know what? I, one of the most respectful things I've heard, not facts, not facts, that
03:36transparency is not in the league. Yeah. My transition though, to Phoenix was like a complete
03:43three 60. Yeah. Right. First off, Phoenix wasn't even in the picture really for me to
03:48go to. Really? Wasn't that, that was a fly ball. I'm just chilling. I'm waiting on, I'm
03:59waiting on Miami to hit me a grounder. Yeah. Milwaukee, you know, those, those, those were
04:05kind of like my two Miami didn't want to do it. Whatever reason didn't know why Milwaukee.
04:14I was like styling the fence. I didn't really like they were trading Middleton.
04:21I hate I'm telling this story, but whatever they were trading midi, the midi had a player option.
04:27So he has to opt in right in order for this. Yeah. I don't know many people going to opt
04:34in to get traded to DC. Not at that time. We, we, we wasn't good. We weren't winning that. So
04:47I'm like the loyalty part of that, like trading somebody who won y'all a championship
04:51the previous year. Yeah. Right. It was a key piece to y'all winning a championship. Yeah.
04:56I'm like, yeah. And granted I feel like, you know, we, we, we competitors, like I can fill
05:05that role very nicely, but for sure, I ain't like that. I just didn't like the business part of that.
05:12And that's what I learned, man. Like we learned that they can ship anybody anytime, any place,
05:17anywhere. Well, except they can't because you had to know trade clause, dude. And by the way,
05:24by the by dude, let me just ask you this, Brad, cause I'm tired of you mentioned in the Miami
05:30heat. Wow. Ooh, the heat. Yeah. You want to know why dude, you make a gazillion dollars.
05:34You never play basketball. All right. You're basically, you're basically Ben Simmons with
05:39a jump shot. That's kind of what you've been lately. Kind of, kind of. All right. And yeah,
05:45there was a time I would have loved Bradley Beal on the Miami heat. I was there. I'm not going to
05:50be a hypocrite about it. I would have, but you know, times change, you move on. All right. And
05:56this guy, he's been sticking his beak in other people's business. Which one was it, Brad? Wow.
06:06Did you get bothered by the loyalty or did you know that he had a player option and that he
06:11wasn't going to opt in and go to DC? Which one was it? Is that a seesaw? Which one was it? Tell
06:23me Brad. I'm tired of him mentioning it. You're right. You shouldn't be mentioned in that because
06:29you sound like a real phony and I'm tired of it. Okay. Enough of the Bradley Beals trade chronicles.
06:40We've talked more about where Bradley Beal might've gone than him playing basketball
06:45for like the last five years. I was the face of the franchise. Yeah, kind of, except that
06:51franchise is the wizards. Like anybody can be the face of the franchise, the wizards right now.
06:58Kyle Kuzma is the face of the franchise now. Are you Kuzma? Oh, you're not. Cause Kuzma's
07:05actually won something, dude. So what are we doing here, Brad? I wanted to hit a grounder.
07:14No thanks. Pat Riley doesn't want infield practice. You want to know why? Cause he swings
07:21for the fences and we struck out a bunch lately and do not get Damian Lillard. I mean, that's
07:25another story for another day. But the point is he doesn't go for seeing eye singles, Bradley.
07:32Man, Bradley Beal hasn't played more than 60 games since 2018 57, 40, 50, 53.
07:45Just enough already. I'm just saying, oh, it was bothered by the loyalty of it. Okay. Okay.
07:51Yeah. I thought that was ridiculous, dude. Phony that. Hold on. Let me pick this up. Yeah. Let me
08:00see. Is that right there? If you guys can't tell for the radio audience,
08:04what I'm sniffing right now, I'm sniffing a phone cause it smells phony knock knock.
08:13Hello. Who's there? Oh, the truth. Yeah. Brad ain't telling you phony dude.
08:21Sniff the phone, dude. Okay.
